It heals for X Health Points, where X is your Spirit score.
Give it a level 2 upgrade of X+1 and a level 3 upgrade of X+2.
If Priests are supposed to be the support class of the game, I really don't see why their single target healing is completely underpowered atm. Making it common or uncommon also makes the class playable for people who aren't spending volume crystals on stuff, right now, I'd call them completely unplayable without at least 2 Exhaltation.
The next one should probably also be considered.

Select a character and equip him with this card. Select physical or spell damage.
The next time this character goes into combat, damage from the selected type is reduced by 25% and the card is discarded.
Again, this is a support themed card that would provide a defensive advantage. Maybe 25% is too low, 50% seems too high, you'd have to test it.
Currently, outside of Desert Nomads, the class is pretty much unplayable. The merc Priests need more support (especially given the importance of Apostle of Destiny to levelling Noz as well as Tempus now coming into the game) and simple stuff like this would help immensely. While I doubt these cards would make Nomads OP, it'd be easy enough to make them Merc only if that was a problem.
Even if you don't take these cards on, please devote an update to Merc priests soon.

It's not unplayable outside of nomads. The best priest in the game is a merc. Exaltation is really the only heal they need. Why throw in more single target heals when exaltation heals everyone? High lvl priest decks thrive on prolonging the battle and decking your opponent. Build a deck around that idea and you'll see the current mix of cards is enough.
