2handed wepons and shield?
I was just wandering how come this combo is possible? since the whole idea behind a 2h wep should be to get more atk without being able to use a shield right? and it shouldnt be possible to add a dagger either should it? i mean if a character has spear+dagger+shield thats alot of hans this guy has?

Shield counts as armour in this game, not as weapon in hand. Imagine its hanging on the back

Also, one-handed weapons allow you to wield an extra weapon; however, only one-handed weapons with the dual wield effect will let a character wield two of the same weapon.

Some shields are in general small enough to be attached to your arm without hindering your movement with it. Bucklers are usually such shields.
