So tired of this...

I am beyond tired of all the people who time out or just leave a game when they're about to lose. This also seems to happen more frequently when I'm about to win with a perfect. Too many ego's can't stand to lose. I've taken my beatings and lost without timing out or leaving, EVER. I wish there was some penalty for ending a game like that.

End rant.

You can blame about half of that to system hanging up, it happens that often.

True...and true it happens often...there was this time that i was about to perfect a dude and the stuff crashed and when it came back i have lost......
but it also true that sometimes when someone is about to lose they just leave..they should at least give the exp cuz is not rly annoying while leveling some lvl 1 or 2 chars...

I started blacklisting them... you do that, i send you a mesage asking what happened. If the player doesent apologize, he has at least 40 ppl that won't play against him again.
The Fair Play restrictions aren't enough.

Re : So tired of this...

Agreed. This is properly irritating and it's happening more and more as I play. I don't so much get people leaving towards the end when they know they're going to lose but right at the beginning when I wipe out their character in the 1st round. I'm desperately trying to get The Ambassador trophy within 2 days and I'd probably have an extra 30% if it wasn't for people leaving games.

I found this game a few weeks ago and I think it's great. Just a big shame that some people have to spoil it because they can't bear to be good sportsmen and take their losses on the chin.

Re : So tired of this...

I can agree it is more than annoying. I get especially irritated when this occurs within the first two turns, disabling you from getting any experience at all. Often players leave when they notice my deck might be too much to handle for them.

But, you have to consider this is a heavy duty flash game. And often, this happens to me sometimes too, the game suddenly gets really laggy cause your computer cannot keep up with it. Then you might get lagged out or have to restart the browser again because it stops loading.

Punishing those who click off the game and close the window and leave should be managable and players playing against such players should get their full xp bonus, regardless of the turn. People who lag out is another thing. Sometimes people are arseholes and literally wait it out intentionally to piss people off. What I would suggest against these people is, depending on your fairplay level, you have a certain amount of time to play your cards. The lower your fairplay is the less time you will have to play your cards, meaning if you do decide to be a jerk and let the other wait, it wont be that long if you do it often. In addition to these people who play against timed out players should be reembursed with full xp as well, to make things fair for them.

One time I faced a player who would sit on every second and stall teh game out until the last speck of his time bar was almost gone. Then he would play a card. 30 minute matches are no fun at all. hmm
