For some reason that I can't explain I have noticed many people using a particular combination of characters quite often:

Iro , Amaya , and Hares

Did anyone else notice this?

P.S.: I am talking about level 10+ matches.

Yea i see this combo alot, i cringe a little every time i see it because I can almsot never beat it unless the player is stupid.

Aren't they the initial characters from Kotoba's deck?

Since I have a 60/40, 65/35 win percentage against then, I don't have too many worries.

It wasn't so common to see "beginner teams" at lvl 10+ a couple weeks ago....
But now I started noticing more and more people playing that combination.

Its Kotoba starter. I think after seeing how hard it is to level card in this game some people are just too afraid too change from their high level ones to lv 1.

Maybe it's just an influx of new players. Eredan is advertising a lot more on Facebook and it isn't that difficult to get to level 10 using just a starter deck.

actually, its better to get to lv 4-5, save the moeny, and buy new characters, to level them...Why? Because you can sell them back later for money...they are better than starter deck heroes...And yes, Kotoba are quite good...if you play Kotoba, use Iro, Xin, Asajiro...at high levels, they have alot of defense and attack...pretty annoying...but if you want a deck thats cheap and good, go Tracker deck...get some real money in the game, sell cards you get (hopefully pricy ones)...and make one, it works wonders Better than, or equally strong as Kotoba one

Honestly, I'm sick of fighting Kotoba warrior decks. I feel like I'm gobbling down light snack after light snack and am beginning to suffer from indigestion. I admit that some players know what they're doing when using a Kotoba deck, but most of them are easy pickings. I've long since finished my trophy for beating Kotoba decks and I am one victory away from completing the Zil version, but it's taking too long because very few besides me use Zil decks.

Same goes to Zil decks.

Zil and Kot decks are the easiest to play as the cheap cards you can play will make a passable deck if you play it correctly. Mage decks and nomad decks have a bit more difficulty in those aspects.
