...playing the the ELO room until changes to match ups are made. I'm done fighting iro/gak/asa all at level 4 against a level 18 player, lol.

That's why I do not play it. I feel bad facing all these level 6 newbies and then get spanked with some uber deck from a level 17 dude.

When will this be changed?
Also, in the regular rooms it seems like 'strength of deck' is a much better way to determine who you should fight rather than your level. I'm now level 14 (almost 15) and have learned so much that I'm wanting to start upgrading cards from level 1 - which is nearly IMPOSSIBLE fighting the other lvl 14-18 players and always LOSING...

Yea.....that's why I have deleted my account for 2 times....when I had hit level 12-13 I've always found some mistake in it......

lol you shouldn't feel bad when facing the lvl 6-ish newbies since it's their choice to go end get spanked there. But the thing about the high level players with tons of really useful cards... well, that's kinda' troublesome. But they go in the lvl 11+ rooms too, just beating up other players who are desperately trying to get the remaining 400 exp for their Kounok. Oh, that's me but anyway - I fought some really mean priest merc deck >.< That player had 2x a new start, lady yilith and some other epic cards... also cards like Fallback and Tadaa! You're a bunny! really need to be unique...

Soon maybe. We've been promised the tournament module for ages. It's just a question a patience.

There was a 5-level indicator for the strength of the deck but there was a lot of complaints because a lot of players refused to play against you if your deck was a bit stronger than theirs. Also if you had an epic character in your deck its strength went through the roof even if the character was level 1 and you ended up facing decks with at least 2 level 3 characters.

why do those cards need to be unique? Just because you don't have them three times in you collection doesn't mean they are overpowered and have to be unique. Those cards are really strong but far from overpowered.
Despite this, I agree that for the moment, Beginners have a lot of hard work against optimized decks in ELO, and i can assure you that big player are as eager as you to get that tournament module that the devs are finalizing for the moment.
What's also missing is that most of the players never come to the forum and don't know how to optimize their xp gains, even if they lose the duel.
Gaining Xps faster means being faster competitive against "older" players.

Ok, I have to agree that these cards are not overpowered but they are above the average strong card. It is also true that there is a playability cap on them - 1 of both is really enough, 2 is ok but playing 3 of either means slowing your deck down (at least that's my opinion). But what makes them better than your average strong card is the fact that they can be used in any deck - even one that's already too strong. For example, using fallback on abomination...
Oh, the lvlup thing too - playing characters on their orders, finishing with a full HP character and so on. What about losing? I would like to know how to get more than 3~4 exp after a loss.

It's simple you can't if the battle lasts 6 turns or less and I think the average must be around 5 turns.
