Card Point System

Would like to see a point system added to cards, or rather a card ranking. At higher level i cant play 3 new lvl 1 hero cards without getting owned by others my same level. this really brings down the replay value of the game.

my suggestion be this easy for the development team.

keep lvl in place as it gives a good value for playing a new person vs a veteren person, fine by me, but lets look at the card ranking/point system.

card type-value

common-1
uncommon-2
rare-3
common lvl2-2
uncommon lvl2-3
rare lvl2-4
2 commons merged with a uncommon to make new uncommon/rare-6

ect ect obviously development team come up with a better cut system.

my point to all this it would allow me to play a low point system deck againt new players or other higher lvls like myself that wanna experiment with other guilds and such without getting stomped on.

so rooms would be changed to deck value instead of level.
Empires border 1(23-30point value decks)
Empires border 2(31-38 point value decks)
Empires border 3(39-46point value decks)
Empires border 4(47-54point value decks)
Elitists Junction (55+point value decks)

in closing i feel this would make the game replay value more enjoyable and would hold more customers imo.

thnx for taking time to look into this suggestion, cya in game.

Re : Card Point System

2 months ago we have this system. But there are a problem of card power.

You have commons, unco, rare, very powerfulls and other very powerless.

So to have a good Deck rank, we must check power of cards one by one. It's very difficult to do.

Re : Card Point System

Why not just base it off of the Character levels then instead of entire decks?

Many hero cards rank up to 3 or higher, so just have 3 different battle Classes.

Rank 1 would be a combined level score of 1-4 (Average Hero level of 1)
Rank 2 would be a combined level score of 5-7 (Average Hero level of 2)
Rank 3 would be a combined level score of 8+  (Average Hero level of 3 or more)

Allowing it to go 1-4 and 5-7 would let a player have one hero of one level higher than the average.

This would mean that a player with all level 1's would only face other level 1 heroes, or at the maximum, 2 level 1 and one level 2.

The second rank, at the lowest possible entry, would have either 2 level 2's and one level 1, or 1 level 3 and two level 1's, facing off against a maximum of a level 3 and two level 2's, or similar.

Its not perfect, but it would allow for higher level players trying to start a new deck (Desert Nomads for example) to not be overwhelmed by a Deck that has 3 level 3+ hero cards.

The big downfall might be the separation of rooms might have to be redone a little. Have a rank 1 room for any player over level 5, for example, and the other two ranks can enter the normal rooms you see now.

The other problem might be that experienced players have more powerful deck cards as well, so a rank 1 lvl 5 guy would find it hard against a rank 1 level 20 guy, but honestly, the cards only amount to so much an advantage when the hero's are of equal ratings...

If there were no luck in TCG, how boring would that be?

Re : Card Point System

That is *the* major problem in this game. I can't just try out new decks without losing one match after the other because my new chars and cards are all lvl 1 and the decks i have to face at my level are all leveled.

I understand the need to limit Training Room matches, because it interferes with the player-level system. But shouldn't higher level players have a way to build up new decks without having to wait 24 hours before they can face a non-balanced training room system?

All I'd wish for are more diversified training rooms that consider the level of characters, with a simple "add the levels" - system exactly like Rathedan suggested.

With a limit of 10 Matches for each type of room, please. So i could level different decks, and when i feel they got strong enough i can use them for ladder matches.

The average-level calculations shouldn't be too hard for weapons and spells as well. You could even turn that off completely to avoid having level 1 mages throw level 3 fireballs.

Re : Card Point System

If you're worried about being able to try out new decks in a non competitive game, come into the chat sometime.  I know myself along with everyone in there is willing to play a friendly game with you to try out your new cards and decks.  We'll even help you level them up.

Re : Card Point System

I would like to add to this..

Myself and a few others in the chat room, (Insert Free Plug Here) htpp://xat.com/englisheredan , would like to see if possible a Trophy room.  A room solely based on people playing to obtain trophies.  This new one is a kick in the rear..  I sit here and use my items and the other people get the achievement instead of me.

Sure, that's just me complaining I guess.. but I would hope others would do the same.  If this could be implemented, or at least thought about, that would be extravagant.

To add to Steve's comment:  Come to the chat room, we're all a bunch of friendly people.  We help each other out as much as possible.  Everyone is more than welcomed to come.

Re : Card Point System

I absolutely absolutely agree with these suggestions.
I'm a fairly new player ( less than 2 weeks ) and I love this game.

HOWEVER, I'm extremely frustrated with not being able to level new characters (losing every match = half the exp) that I've taken on as projects.
If this isn't fixed, I'm afraid I may quit. I'm sure I'm not alone in this sentiment, so definitely to increase the playability of this game at higher levels, PLEASE implement a way to rank a deck and base the rooms on that.

Thank you!!!!!

Re : Card Point System

Its not half the exp for losing, its one less.  Unless you get killed fast, then you get less for not getting your order bonuses or full hp bonuses.

Re : Card Point System

This needs some attention, the level system definetly needs a change.

I wish i'd get no xp and i could play what i want. Base rooms on deck-level. Please.

Re : Card Point System

I agree.  Base it on just the level of the characters.  One point for each level of their upgrade.  Rathedan is right.
