Ok so i went into elo and had fun facing cards that were indestructible!
anyway i was wondering why the elo room doesnt match you up with people around your level. i can understand if no one my level is on, but i was forced into a battle. If there is no one my level, they should just kick me out and let me try again another time
i think that would be fair, since i am a lvl 7. i went up against a lvl 19.

Yeah, the matchups in the ELO room can be pretty brutal. Even at level 13, the guys a few levels above me annihilate me easily. I just played a guy with more rares than uncommons, and 3 level 4 characters. It sucked, lol.

Yeah it is bad. Where I have not been unfortunate to meet up with higher leveled players than myself (currently level 13) I still have often fought against lower leveled players. It always makes me feel bad facing some level 6 newbie and obliterating them with my deck.
Stuff like that can be tiresome but especially discouraging in these games; scaring people away from participating in ELO matches.
I do, however, look forward to this tournament build up. I might consider participating, though not with my Kotoba Warrior deck. xD Mages are just too brutal at high levels...

I like the tourney idea, too. I play Kotoba, and I can manage a win over mages at least half the time. We should play sometime, maybe we can give each other some tips.

I agree, I'd be very excited to hear about any tournament news!
The ELO room is pretty much off-limits for me until I get 3 characters at level 4... and I don't see that in my near future.

We can meet up sometime to play against eachother. I personally think my Kotoba deck is rather well balanced, but as of late I have been plagued with terrible drawings. xD
All my weapons stashed in the last cards of my deck. -__- I am still tweaking on it and plan to add one or the other card. If you want to discuss the decks and builds we could start a new thread about it?
Otherwise ELO is okayish for me. I just dislike losing with my Kotoba deck. XD And mages or super high defense decks tend to knock me off my shoes once in a while. So I played till I got the 1600 for the trophy and quit after that.

ELO is brutal, but it is the goal of this game, be brutal to win.
Always wait for tuesday to play in ELO, the very big decks will be 1650+ and you will have a more quiet room with more common decks.
We all are waiting for tournament stuff with defined deck and characters.
The staff has said (in french forum) that this feature is near to be released.

This is what I do too. I usually hit 1600+ by weeks end.
Tournament news makes me happy
If there were no luck in TCG, how boring would that be?
