Problem with my upgrades.
Ive been training a "Trackers" deck for awhile now but at level 2 I got my Tsuro char card with 480 exp but I cant seem to upgrade him, to describe the situation - Whenever I click the "Upgrade" button in my collection for my Tsuro card it brings me to the upgrade screen like normal (You know with the red beam of light reaching to his new upgrade) But the upgrade is a dark grey card with chains around it and a lock in the middle as if to say it isnt available. So I was wondering if there is a certain requirement for this that im missing. It doesnt show any merger card like usual (Ive merged to create the Emperors speech card).
EDIT: Oh and also when I scroll over it a little hint/tip reads (Il faut du temps).
I cant read french so I have no idea what that says.

There are two 'special' cards, the [card]Apostle of Destiny[/card] and the [card]Watchmaker of Destiny[/card]. Some cards will not upgrade to level 3 until you have one of these special characters upgraded to level 3.
For instance, I had a Telendar (Rank 2) with full exp, ready to evolve - but I got the same message. First I had to collect a Watchmaker, and then I had to level up the Watchmaker to level 3, and then finally I was able to upgrade Telendar. It took a lot of work and crystals!
I'm not exactly sure which characters need which Destiny character to upgrade. Perhaps someone from the French forums knows the list?

Wow really? The Watchmaker costs more crystals at level 1 thanTsuro at lvl 3 T-T

No you just need them levelled to unlock the evolutions
If there were no luck in TCG, how boring would that be?

I have not tried it yet myself, but you need them lvl 3 as far as I am informed. (I know it sucks, and yes, I don't know either what the deves were thinking when implementing that...)

Full evolutions or it doesnt count sadly

Do the level 3 versions of the characters become unsalable? I have never seen them past Level 2 in the marketplace... O_o

Yes! Once you've upgraded your Apostle or Watchmaker to level 3, they become untradeable.
I've heard that if you get a second copy of either card, that second copy *IS* tradeable - but I can't say if that's true or not - they're too expensive for me to test it out!
