Merging?

Ok so i kind of understand that when it has enough exp it will be able to upgrade, and that some times it requires other cards to fit the requirements.

when i merge a card and it uses another card to mix in with it, can i then buy another of that first card and train it again? earlier i saw you can have up to 3 of the same card, but does that mean that if i merge a card, even though its a totally different card it counts as one for its previous form?

No, you can play three lightning bolts at level 1 and three at level 2 if you wanted.

if the result is a totally different card as you said, it doesn't count

for example:

to upgrade "lightning bolts (lvl1)" you must have 2 "static charge"

"static charge" is just used to upgrade so you can still put "lightning bolts (lvl2)" and 3 "static charge" on your deck

Level 1 and 2 lightning bolts are not unique.  Level 3 is.  Why wouldnt you be able to play effectively 7 lightning bolts?

you can have at most 3 of them

but the lvl 3 is unique so if you use it, you can't put any lvl 1 or 2

My Rank-2 Telendar has full xp, but there is a chain-and-lock on his upgraded form. I heard I have to do something with the Watchmaker of Destiny to remove this.

Can someone hhelp me out?
