For some characters the last evolution is locked. To unlock it, you need to have in your collection either the [card]Apostle of Destiny[/card] OR the [card]Watchmaker of Destiny[/card] at level 3.
Note that it is not a fusion. The simple fact of having those characters at level 3 in your collection is enough.
Note also that for the Watchmaker, it will work whatever the evolution path you choose.

The Shadow
Pilkim
Prophet
Akutsaï
Toran the faithless

Are unlocked by the Watchmaker:
Telendar
Zahal
Gakyusha the imperial lord
Tsuro
Abomination

EDIT: After asking in the french thread, Dimizar said there are for now no locked evolutions for the Nomads, the Pirates and the Sap Heart.

What a stupid rule... That's extremely annoying and i consider that foul play! I don't want to play 400 games with cards i dont even like to play. And i don't want to buy them before that

It's okay that i need some cards to merge them into greater ones, but that rule is ...

It's not that bad. And it just gives you something to do. Working for these things makes it a more fun game.

Yeah but buying/getting the watchmaker is basically impossible for people who don't spend money on this game.....

The Watchmaker and the Apostle also have an important role in Eredan background. They act behind the scene, helping people with their Destiny.

Leveling Apostle is not so difficult : buy some heal spell (even the one who hell 1-5 health point), and put her with 2 others characters you're are leveling. If your characters end the battle full life, they will get xp bonus.

One very effective deck for this Dame Jeanne (I don't know the English name, sorry. I'm speaking of the priest with order "3-6 : heal 1hp on all your character"), Apostle and a 3rd one you want to level. I've a couple of friends who, using this exact deck, have upped several characters and made a good amount of money selling Apostle (you can sell her lvl2 with her experience full, without leveling her)

Last time I checked watchmaker cost 20000 at lv 1. Without card trading you just can't get that kind of bling., and you can't trade cards unless you pay money.

I dunno I can get 10k in under a week with a few heros level grinding.

Well....with that, plus games played, plus the daily 250, plus the daily get crystals from friends for at least 150....

Of course you can, if you play around 100 games a day, but if you have a life, or something like that, and if you don't want to get 200 mesages of random spam in your facebook every day your optiosn are bit more limited

100 fights is silly and an over-exaggeration.

I might do 20-40 a day (Case in point I still haven't finished clairvoyant, and its been 5 days passed, and I have enough items in my deck to activate it almost every time). Usually more on the low end. I do have a life, and I don't play too much because of it. Its just called time management I guess *shrug*. And I just make a special group in FB for all the game profiles I add to my lists. It blocks them from seeing my spam, and me seeing them. And it took me a whole 5 minutes to set up...

And like I've said in other threads, 3-4 XP a fight is easily attainable even if you lose if you have the ordered activation cards...getting 3 [card]it is time[/card]'s are pretty simple...

Doing that you can easily level a character to lvl 2 in 4 or 5 days at an average of 30 fights, even if you're losing 75% of them....

Are you really whining about a mere 20k? Have you for once took a moment to think about how this game works and how the market works as well?

If you level up characters and sell them you EARN money. You EARN money from playing games, wins or losses. You EARN money every day for just logging in (and not true, I have been getting 250 each morning with only 50+ peeps in my friendlist) and you EARN money by doing some trophies.

You can also do free Feez EARNing tasks, such as surveys and the likes, buy packs and get some awesome cards out of there. This EARNs you crystals as well. In addition, you can ask people to add you as a godfather which EARNs you 10% of their purchased Feez. MORE money.

I have a hard time understanding your argumentation with such a huge list of ways to get around in this game. But if you expect a free game with all the benefits and do not wish to pay a dime, then you are wrong here. Online games in general require work and dedication, with or without money. They wont shove it up your rear just because you want them too.

What about Kotoba? Is Gakyusha the imperial lord (level 4) still impossible to get? Because Watcher of Destiny costs around 200k in market place... There is no chance I will ever get that amount of crystals to buy one lol

Well, I already bought 3 Kotoba boosters and nothing, so... Do we have to keep spending real money until we get one from boosters? :S

How about sell your full exp level 3, then save up some and buy the level 4. Some, if not all, of the cards that need Watchmaker to max are far cheaper at max level than Watchmaker itself.
