Mercy and Stitches

For some reason, when I use these cards they do not heal anything.  No clue as to why this is, but I figured I'd bring it up and maybe someone may shed some light on my issue.

EDIT:  Is it not working because maybe they are ones redrawn from the graveyard?  And if that's the case, what is the point of allowing a card to come back if it's not going to work?

You could have noticed that there is a bug with retrieved card when the nullifying card is still in play.
Others explanation could be on specific characters like [card]Hares the runic[/card] with his [card]runic armor[/card] or [card]Sol'ra avatar[/card]
