Grave.Control.Deck

Characters: CROW- Multi.Caste - Marauder

Strategy:    the whole deck evolves around the card [card]Vital Point[/card]
                 
the main idea is to have a lot of utility cards that you want to discard during
the match to make them available to be triggered by [card]vital point[/card]
from the graveyard


despite its caotic look its a very versatile deck in the level room and can stand against a lot of well formed opponents ... its hard to read the playstyle of the
deck fot the opponent, seeing you discarding almost your whole hand every
other turn and playing a lot of different effects together when you bring
those cards back into play ...

I am constantly trying to finetune the deck composition to make it more competetive simply to stay long enough alive to be able to actually grave.control

I think also a few of the recently released cards can add to this specific deck ...

from those ten cards the deck is drawing its main attack, defense and chaining ability

Vital Point can trigger any of the cards below if they are located in the graveyard - but not every card can be played by every character, note the restrictions printed on the cards

the eight cards above are the most reasonable to use, from most useful to least ...

those cards can also be used in the deck but to track down is a very weak card and the other three can only be played by Toran, but all can be triggered by vital point

its never wrong to have one or two art of tracking for Kotori in the deck,
they are played automaticaly at his turnorderbonus, but can be problematic
if drawn into your hand or to early ...

the other twos cards can be useful inside a crow-deck, but playing the spell alone is just to weak but can be powerful if you cahin : [card]Tsume[/card] on Karasu with [card]Erleuchtung[/card] wich draws [card]Shadow Master[/card] from your deck (if its still there)

those two items can be useful two support the grave.control.deck, if drawn early they can speed up the whole match ... but they can also jam up your hand and
only toran can play the staff

[card]spirit master[/card] : somehow this card screams to be in a deck like this
but unfortunatly there is never time to play or realy use it for anything ...


on a closing note, this deck could really benefit if vital point could also trigger cards like [card]the art of tracking [/card]  [card]steel body[/card] or [card]transmission of knowledge[/card] from the graveyard, but it doesnt because those are Kotoba-Cards wich are not restricted to one of the Castes but only has an special effect that is reserved for a special caste, to bad ...

Vital Point could be a very importent card to bring nice cards that are two weak now back into play ... if vital point itself would have an effect to it, like a defence-buff for instance or how about a spirit-buff

crow- marauders are quite pwerfuel as a base for the grave.control mechanic, but somehow they have a problem with raising spirit ... [card]macht der kotoba [/card] could help, but it isnt permanent ... again, to bad


I will not have much time to play in the next few weeks, so I thought I just share this idea with the people on the forums ... thoughts? ^^
