My questions stands as this: Is paying another 50k+ worth adding the +2 max damage to fireball to creat Rain of Death?

If you got money, yes.
If you dont got money, stay with 2 fireballs.

That's my opnion, it worth, but is better you got 2 good spells instead of only 1, if you got money to do another one, so do it

Depends, Rain of Death is certainly better then fireball, but your deck might improve more if you spend the money on other good spells. You can for get 2 gust for the price of a single fireball, to name one. And it is a good offensive spell. Even better then ROD at times in very high spirit decks.

It is all up to what you have to spend and if your deck needs something else first.

Know how you can buy the starterdecks for a x amount of chrystals? I think it is like 30k or something. New starters are coming out, and the noz starter will have one again. If you haven't gotten the first bunch, you might want to look at them, I know the zill one has a assassination to.

If the new Starters cost as much as the old starters did it is $1200 - as soon as I heard that the new starters were coming out I broke down and bought the kotoba starter.

The info comes from the thread upon the "Tournament of the beginning", we have tested the decks and the balance between them.
