So after playing Zil Discard for a while, I got sick of it. I toyed around with the idea of using Courtesans instead of the normal Circus layout, and came up with this list, which is doing fair enough with an 8-2 record.
The Characters:
[card]Marlok the Repentant[/card]
[card]Councilor Ishaia[/card]
[card]Doyen Verace-Councilor[/card]
The Spells:
1 x [card]Beyond Vision[/card]: It's got some fun synergy with Mental Siphon
1 x [card]Breaker[/card]: I never thought to much of this card before playing it. Simply put, this card is sick.
2 x [card]Double Clay[/card]: Pretty much an auto-include if you're playing Mages. Plus, you know, on Ish it gives +5 Defense instead, which is nuts.
2 x [card]Ice Barrier[/card]: Mainly for Ish to play to give some sweet global buffs.
2 x [card]Luminosity[/card]: What's a control deck without counterspells?
1 x [card]Mental Prison[/card]: Niche control card for Mages. Might want another one.
1 x [card]Mental Siphon[/card]: We all know why this is here.
The Actions:
2 x [card]Magic Servant[/card]: Recycles cards and gives a boost against physical and magical attacks.
2 x [card]Manipulation[/card]: With the Ish having four guilds and Doyen having all of the ones present in the fight, this seems like another good way to deal with attackers.
1 x [card]Spirit Master[/card]: Recycles cards and can get rid of annoying ones in your opponent's graveyard.
1 x [card]The Ball[/card]: Everyone gains a crap-ton of life. I'm game.
1 x [card]The Prestige[/card]: Seems like a good way to get rid of troublesome cards, in some cases before they even get to play them.
3 x [card]Treacherous[/card]: The only other way to make them discard other than Mental Siphon.
The only real problems I face are against Mages. I feel like I have too much defense against Physical attackers, so when I face Mages, I have so many dead cards and no way to defend myself. Comments and suggestions are always appreciated.

a global spirit buff can always be useful against mages

And it heals the two Councilors. Can't believe I didn't think of that. Thanks for that little addition.

Question: Is Indigestion worth playing either along with or in place of Treacherous? Does them gaining one card back from their graveyard give them a chance when I can just counter it potentially?

IMO Indigestion is worth playing along Treacherous, but never replace it. Even then I wouldn't throw in 3 Indigestions in a deck.
Most of the caste decks today have a few key cards they run on, and giving them the ability to reuse those cards is just too much from a 2card discard.

I guess it's situationally good. I wouldn't play 3, either way. Now that I'm thinking about it, if Ish played it, would they discard four cards and pick 2?
