mental syphon and prestige

i used them together in first turn and i couldn't choose any card in the discard pile(there wasn't even card in the discard pile) then i couldn't do anything until the time runned out(the game failed to activate the prestige and always said there is something wrong with the card you choose)

I'm assuming what you experienced was a combination of 2 bugs. The first sounds like http://forum.eredan.com/viewtopic.php?id=46036.

The second seems similar to http://forum.eredan.com/viewtopic.php?id=44835.

I've experienced both of these individually so, I'm guessing, they just happened at the same time for you. I'm hoping it's not a whole new animal.
