Desolation of the Heart + Dark Stone Heart

Condition :
2character alive on my side: Iron mask, receptacle
2 character alive on opponent side :Saphyra (have demon may rise and overconfidence) and Telendar (have contagion, revealing of secret, and dark stone heart)
The turn played first by me
I select Iron mask vs Telendar
I chain desolation of the heart + demonic portal
opponent play Living dagger and at dagger drawn
after switching attack with saphyra, Iron mask can kill Telendar with the dark stone heart.
but the result is all corruption is removed (even the corruption on saphyra, defense become normal, demon race eliminated)
I try to understand maybe desolation of the heart not working by the effect of the DSH. But why my corruption on Saphyra also removed?
I get lose because I cannot us demonic portal on next battle with Saphyra.

It happen in a blink so I cannot take the Screenshot.

did telendar has two desolation of the heart attached?

Nope.
I am sure all corruption written above is all that is attached
I play desolation of the heart for gambling with thinking "desolation of the heart effect active when character die, maybe it is activated after DSH removed." So i try it with gambling.LOL my sure win become loss because a little experiment
