When played a game with [card]The Venerable Shûlong[/card] against a runic deck, my opponent used [card]stamping[/card] and divided the defense of my character by 4, witch I think is not supposed to happen.
Hors ligne
Defence divided is like setting a new value (=X), it is not a bonus/malus modification in the term of the game.

[card]No armor[/card] is just a big smile against shulong : def=0 and no attack bonus

Technically if you have a starting value in any stat above 0 and you divide it by something above 1 or if you equal it to something different that the initial value, you are applying a reduction or an enhancement.
If is intended to make alterations to this type of characters, change the text to bonus\malus.
Other thing with Shûlong
My opponent played [card]That's an order![/card] in turn 2, causing a magic attack from my character. Since Shûlong it's not a mage, why he didn't cause physical damage, as he should in even turns?

With "That's an Order!" played, the effect for both odd and even turns activated, which means that the physical attack was prevented.

Technically, when you do def=0, this is an alteration and a malus.
When you speak about the game, you have to adapt to the meaning of certain terms.
In this game, [card]Dandy[/card] and [card]Shulong[/card] don't behave in the same way.
The attack of the first can't be modified in any manner.
The skills of the second can't be enhance and downgrade by bonus/malus but can be change when fixing a new value (and dividing by 4 is in this game fixing a new value).

So the same way I can upgrade his max attack to 16 with [card]foot-care[/card].
Hors ligne
Yes you can.
