More a query really

If you play Demon May Rise, and then the character equipped with it dies, but has Desolation of the Heart equipped, when the corruptions are moved to the new character, does this new character become a demon as well? I played a game in which this occured, but the new character did not become a demon.

No, the demon change part is indicated at the activation of the card, when the card move from one player to another ([card]desolation of heart[/card] or [card]Pulling the strings[/card]), the card is not re-activated.
