Anti discard update?

today when playing against a discard (after the maintinence) i noticed 1 thing:
on the old days when i was with 0 cards on the deck, even if i play [card]Magic Servant[/card] (also heard comments from peope who can afford [card]A New Beggining[/card]) that should return me 2 cards from discard to the deck i would lose by deck out, today when i got to 0 cards (after playing this card) the cards still returned and i ended up winning

so my guess is old days the order would be: damage effects check -> alive characters check -> deck check -> other effects check and now the 2 last changed position

where can we find update notes? any confirmation of this update or "old times" was just me having trouble vs discards (they still give me headache but this way my deck makes more sense since was built in a bit in order to counter them)?

Did you have a full hand at the beginning of the turn? The discard lose condition is to not be able to draw a full hand. If you end up with 0 cards in you deck but you still managed to get 5 cards (though the number can vary by the effect of certain cards) in you hand you won't lose due to discard on that turn.

nop, had an empty hand even
edit: check happened again 0 cards on hand and deck but still discard to deck worked once but at 2nd turn same thing was happening failed (wtf)
