time runs out for opposing person yet I get defeated

Yes I am sure this happens to many people, you wait for your opponent to make his turn, but as you watch the timer go down for his turn, you believe he just gave up and doesn't think he can win.

But wait....

when the timer goes down on his turn you are taken to the end of battle screen... what do you see?

Deafeat!

"you took too long to play your turn" says the end game message

it wasn't even my turn! how could I be defeated when it wasn't even my turn? the other person did not do anything! he should be the loser cause he took too long to play a card? what is going on?

did he play any particular cards, or it is just the usual freeze bug...
because if so, just tell yourself that all elo players experiment it in each of their weeks so it's not as unfair as that (even though it makes me quite mad when it happens to me...)

he did not play any cards, after my turn to discard cards I pressed the play button then waited for him to make his move, but his gray bar went down to nothing and I got defeated.

sigh... I guess it's ok I should've just stopped when I was at 1826 elo but I always try to get those extra points which end up taking me down 50+ anyway...
