The tournament of the Million

A crystal tempest is rumbling!! Another 1 million crystals are at stake this week end!!

Dates:

From now on and until Sunday February 24 at 8: 00 (French time).

Restrictions:

Format : 3 characters, 20 cards.
Not more than 2 copies of the same card.
2 unique cards maximum.

Banned cards: All the characters who are not "Human" race ones are forbidden.

Rewards:

Open your eyes because the reward is exceptional! At least 1 million crystals will be distributed to the gamers!

1rst : 125.000 Cx guaranteed + 1250 Cx per registration beyond the 100th registration.
2nd : 85.000 CX guaranteed + 850 Cx per registration beyond the 100th registration.
3ème et 4ème : 55.000 CX guaranteed + 550 Cx per registration beyond the 100th registration.
Du 5ème au 8ème : 25.000 CX guaranteed + 250 Cx per registration beyond the 100th registration.
Du 9ème au 16ème : 10.000 CX guaranteed + 100 Cx per registration beyond the 100th registration.

500.000 crystals will be shared between the gamers of the first third, with a fix value of 5.000 crystals per person if there are more than 100 registrations in this tournament.

Registration: 10.000 crystals or 400 Fee'z

Does a character has to be purely human? Or only having Human as one of the races is good enough?

Exit golem and pure guemelit.
Out the Demon Hunter deck.

The only human DK are Ardrakar and Zahal. Kebek and Vizir are also the only humans of their caste.

I'd expect a lot of witchblades, avalonians, kotoba imperial warriors and maybe pirate mages with lv 3 mylad.

Azalys, Souchi and Hook are all humans.

Well, so far I'm going Witchblades.. If I had the Vizir, I would go Vizir, Kebeck and Sakina...

Anotehr thing that could work would be Vizir, Sakina and the other GT who can cast theurgies in his bonus turns.. Can't get the name at the moment..

All that i can see is WB,Kotoba(iro,asajiro,gayakusha) and Traker.

Again,a vicious circle:

Witch Blade>Kotoba>Traker>Witch Blade.

There's too some mages,and mecanics,but i think that the best options are the tree above.

The previous tournament gave players some motivation. If you finished in the top 3rd you would actually win something - a NB booster. Now if you end in the top 3rd you only lose 5k instead of 10k.
For me this new reward system doesn't really do much in terms of incentive to participate.

Damn, the one time Volk's Curse would be useful and I can't use it cause it's unique .

You went into a tourney which STATED "only humans allowed", KNEW that you have kots and nomads who don't have much competition in their human counterparts, lost badly against decks that consist of all humans and are fairly COMPETITIVE in the tournament, and came to rage about how this tourney is unfair and would be better if it was "no humans allowed"/no unique card??

Yup, completely agree with you. While you're at it, why not make it a "Norad IV will win every match" rule as well?

edit: btw, Kots have Iro with WAW, trackers (with human Naya,Tsuro and Shui Khan). Just sayin'

Okay I dont usually write here but I have to say that if someone is sad about the million tournament because it was full of witchbladas and had nomads and didnt manage to survive is just a bad player. I won the whole tour and had nomad deck. I have to say that witchblades was the reason I won the whole thing. They couldnt do nothing against my counter cards like harsness and nomad healing ability
