Foil vs non-foil

I had a hard time choosing between foil and non foil in my new upcoming deck. I have the necessary cards needed to make 3 characters being foil, but still confused as I tend to like the traditional red trimming. Albeit the foil one have a look of being cool, noble, rich and dirt like that tongue

So I want your opinion between these 2 cards and don't forget to vote

Which type of card do you prefer?

  1. Foil
  2. Non-foil

Re : Foil vs non-foil

for the additional cost, i do not see it as necessary since it is only cosmetic.  It also only changes the border.  If it added a change in the card design at max level then maybe. smile

but if you have nothing to use the foil card on then by all means do it.

the appeal though would be to have all 23 cards on foil.. big_smile

Re : Foil vs non-foil

Regardless the cause, foil characters are worth more.
When I have to use an expensive card to upgrade (emperor speech for iro, will be your grave and dazzle for djamena, dark ritual for ripper etc) I prefer to wait until I can make that character foil. This way I get the best value for my cards.

Re : Foil vs non-foil

Most of decks are Courtesan so I use the councilors and they are white bordered which looks amazing. Not to mention white is also my fav color...lol but I've never been attracted to foils.

The worst is yet to come and all I have to trade is only everything.

Re : Foil vs non-foil

The foil in this game seems kinda of cheezy, but if its my ultimate deck, I would want every card in it to be foil <3

Re : Foil vs non-foil

I don't know what's the appeal of foil cards. Usually if I have multiple copies of a card and one of them is foil I usually use the non-foil one and sell the foil cards. Heck if there's a delete option on this game I even want to delete the foil cards I got from Adventure Mode.

The only thing I know about foil cards is that when you get a foil card from boosters, dailies and adventure mode they already have some exp on them and they also received more exp (about +1 more) than regular cards. Aside from that they look shiny and slows down matches to the point of the opponent almost losing by time-out smile
