Error in Translation, or a Different Bug?

I was playing in the Phoenix campaign when I came up against an Olbat. The text on the card reads that my character, when facing Olbat, would have their Attack = 0, but in game the Olbat instead reduced my Defense to 0. Is this a failure in translation, or just the wrong text on the card?

Translation error, Oblat reduces your def to 0.
