The mysterious Phoenix

The mysterious Phoenix

news_pve.jpg

This week a new kind of campaign appears in the Adventure mode!

Prepare some food and sharpen your blades because you will have to go into an antic forest of Avalonia looking for the mysterious Phoenix!

This campaign has a time limit. It's available until Tuesday February 7 at noon (French Time).

What is the principle of this new campaign?

Fight monsters of this forest and resist to their unceasing attacks. Each time a monster dies you can spend 4 Energy point for another fight with another monster. Try to survive as long as possible!

An Eredan's Favor is available during your fights to help you in difficult moments, I let you discover it.

What do you win?

You can earn 3 playable characters thanks to trophies associated to this campaign. If you kill enough monsters, you will obtain the Phoenix Egg.

Note that you have a chance to see the Phoenix during your fights in this campaign. If you defeat it, you will obtain the mythical version of the Phoenix Egg!

Moreover, those who success in killing 50 monsters during one game will obtain the title The Greedyguy.

Ah! We nearly forgot... each time you defeat a monster you have a chance to obtain a card.

Re : The mysterious Phoenix

A question for the campaign:

I tried doing the adventure before the maintenance and i tried killing 2/3 of the creatures, and leaving 1 to respawn over and over again.
However after my 8th monster the interface changed and some more story line showed up,and after that  ended the mission for me. Was it suppose to do this? I might be wrong but I went in expecting an endless (well limited by your energy i guess) brawl until I deck out/ all 3 characters died.

Can anyone clarify this for me?

Re : The mysterious Phoenix

Correct me if I'm wrong.
So in this new "survival mode" adventure to get the last trophy (and the phoenix egg) we need to kill 330 of those little cute pokemons hoping that nothing will interrupt our game.
Before the maintenance I've managed to kill 14 of them using all of my available energy. So for the rest we need 316*4-1264 energy, which in the end translates into spending 2120 fee'z. So if we want to do it for free it will take more than 4 days (1264*5 minutes=105h), am I right?
I'm writing all those math just to calculate if there is any point in bothering with this
event.

Re : The mysterious Phoenix

The 330 pokemon are cumulative.

If I meet the Phoenix in the survival battle and get its egg I'm not gonna bother with the 330.

not exactly.
I kept thinking how this adventure would be a breeze for foamy decks, till I met the game's [card]olbat[/card].

(Not sure if it's a bug,but it says attack on the card but it affects my defense instead)
10/14 attack
opposing character attack = 0
+ some other effect that I forgot

and there's also one that makes your character have spirit =0, which affect mages as well.

Re : The mysterious Phoenix

I was thinking Nomads TG deck would do well

Lamentation is great on long battles and Solar Plastron lets you recycle heals

but yea, just using Pirate Code seems easier
