Edit:
That's the most basic lineup, but also the most limited due to nashi not being a war guem, and Zatoichi's inability to play fire spells. Sub Zatoichi for Kyoshiro, or use less Fight Fire with Fire.
It's hard to mesh decks where character's can't play vital cards <3

Kyoshiro and Ookooni were added to the demon hunter caste when Demon hunters premiered with Zatoichi Kage. The same way Prince Metchaf and Urakia were added to the Immortals when Kebek was introduced, and watchmaker/apostle when eternal was introduced.

Promising lineups are
Yu-ling, Kyoshiro, Nashi
Fire damage+Attacking

Kyoshiro, Ookooni, Nashi
Fire damage/katamaru/Jewel Spam

Zatoichi, Ookooni, Yu ling
Katamaru/Onijutsu

If you use Zatoichi, Nashi, and Yu-Ling, you'll end up getting spells that one of your two warriors can't use, or you may get stuck with too many cards of one type. You'll have the same problem when you mix two castes,only one character can play cards of both types,and Yu-Ling can only play one spell a turn, making a spell heavy hand on your opponent's pick a big problem.

just wanted to add a few more points to the zatochi,nashi and yu-ling lineup.
Sure your hand might get clogged up at times (which can be mitigated more or less depending on your deck), but this lineup has 1 advantage : the characters compliment each other.
Yu-Ling gets a 2 hp heal each fight (+2 if facing a guem)
zatochi gets a +2 attack (leveling him to 8/11 which is quite forminable)
while all characters get +1 dmg dealt from nashi

IMO the demon hunters are versatile in which you can focus on which dmg route you'd wanna take, and have more than 1 staple card to choose from (play fire with fire/rain of death or onijutsu ). Personally I'd prefer building a 'jack of all trade" deck (which IMO is the zatochi nashi yuling combo), but in the end it depends on your play style.

Nashi can't play War spells, he's only undead and a fire guem.

If you're going to play with Kyoshiro, Nashi, and Yu Ling, why not go for a Fire Spell/Demon Hunter deck, with Fight Fire with Fire, Rain of Death, and the other normal Demon Hunter cards.  If you don't have Rain of Death, Burn in Hell might be a good spell for Kyoshiro to play, since he gives +2 to fire spell damage, I think.

yes, no onijutsu..
instead you put onijutsu,you can put katamaru since the effect better.
but,nashi can't play it because he is fire guem not war guem..

Agreed, Onijutsu is too unstable to really rely on.  Granted, when it works, it works.  It's better against non-humans than it is humans.
