New Telendar with his turn bonus

I play Zil marauder

Then first turn, I choose New telendar and play "The pack spirit" which is Action card. OK I got +4 At

Then at turn 4, another my character, bloodsword, is chosen by opponent. I play card  "The pack spirit" + "assasination". I got At+4 and At+3.. become At+7..

It's Bug??? or not?? Or the text also mean this way???
because "the Pack spirit" is played by New Telendar before???
