I've been playing warriors for a while and am getting a little bored of them. I was thinking of playing a marauder deck but I want it to be ELO-worthy as well. Am I basically stuck with the Zil Abomination/Saphyra/the Shadow deck? Any other suggestions?

Maybe Abom/Saphyra/New Telendar. The new Telendar sort of has a build in TTD

I just don't have the crystals available to make the Zil deck. I actually like the hard hitting strategy. I wish I could afford it : (

Also, and this is completely dumb to say, I don't actually like Abomination's artwork. Please don't laugh too hard at that being a turn-off for the deck.

If Abom's art makes you not want to play the deck, don't play a good Zil deck, then. Play the Pack if you really want to play Zil's if you can't play with Abom.

abom hater, i don't like you..

the only ones i know for elo are Zil and Nomads and they both require a serious amount of crystals with the daggers for zil and the action cards for nomads, not too mention the amount needed to make the characters.

i saw pirate marauders before but not sure how good they are.

The Pack is still somewhat competitive, and it costs way less than Zil Marauders.

I ran a Wild/Bloodsword/Fenrath deck and it was good, but it was just missing...something. I could never get it to feel right.

I'm playing a pack-deck with Bloodsword, Wild and Dark. I have no idea if that's a viable option in Elo. My gut instincts tells me it ain't goin' too far. It's lacking punch. Dark is pretty weak but she ain't got no competition in a "all marauder pack deck". Got two Lunations in it and I feel that two is good enough really a third would just bog the deck down.

My point is that only marauders for a pack-deck don't seem to be good enough. Anyone care to disagree? I'd love to be wrong!

i was going to say that packs are mostly warrior but i remember that wild is also a marauder like bloodsword..

anyways, yeah, I never really got wild or 3 lunations yet, i am still saving up for those 2 artezils and maybe if i get lucky, an ans.. I started building a shadow deck aside from my marauder deck when I came back so I can't really say how good they are, but from what i read before they placed in elo when they first come out so i assume they are good..
