The Prestige doesn't negate a cards effect. Also in your card, it doesn't clearly state whether the cards that are not affected by the it's first effect (negating effect) will also be affected by the second one (Prestige effect).

So over all you combined a legendary card (Prestige) and a rare card (Luminosity) together and you think it's not OP. You may facepalm now.

Edit: Also I forgot you made it a Zil Shadow Spell. I hope the army of killer bunnies does you in.

It has a few restrictions, first of all, it's Guild, Race and Class limited to Zil Shadow Mages.
Prestige has no restrictions.
And yes, it's not intended to remove the card that its targeting.
Futhermore, if the opponent doesn't play a spell or an action, this card has no effect.
Again, Prestige is better because it always gets the job done.
And finally, the only thing similar to Prestige, it's Unique, meaning you can only run one copy of this card in your deck.

You can't chain Prestige, but shadow mages can chain this card. Also, Zil mages already have Suspicion of Treason as a nullify card, giving yet another one to the zil mage deck would only make it broken.

Even with this card, I believe that a Zil Mage deck would still struggle against many decks.

Which Zil Mage deck are you talking about? Turned to the Shadow Side is still a highly viable archtype. If you throw this into it, you'd make it even better. And woopty doo that it doesn't remove the card you countered, what good do most cards do in the graveyard? Plus there's only a handful of cards that even bring them back. And even if they played A New Start, they only have one of them.

Not to mention Abyssien and Salem can use this, so you made Zil Discard an EVEN BETTER deck. Congrats. Yes, it's a niche card to Zil Shadow Mages, and yes, if your opponent happens to not play a single card against you when you play it, (When does that even happen?) it does nothing. Making it niche doesn't mean it's less OP'ed.

I'm sorry, but not being able to realize that this card you made is OP'ed says to me you don't know enough about this game.

D'oh...!! When the opponent plays only item cards it also doesn't do anything... And you say I'm the one who doesn't know enough about the game, go figure...

Of course I know this card is OP but so are a bunch of other cards like The Prestige, A New Start, Sol'ra Avatar, etc and it's not like suddenly the Zil are the best guild to play just because you add one of these to your decklist.

So that justifies you making a card like prestige and luminosity? Not really.

Either way this would be an auto include in many decks from Abomb teams to Dark Side users and of course a must have in every Discard deck.

You might have a small understanding of the game but you clearly have no understanding of balance.

Do I even need a justification for creating a crossover card from The Prestige and Luminosity? Not really.

It seems to me that you guys are just worried because a card like this would make your one-card-dependant decks (like Weapons at Will, Items have a Soul, etc) less effective.

Actually, I do believe a card like this would improve the balance of the game since it's a nullifying card rather than a winning condition and I hope they print it some day.

Anyway, I guess haters gonna hate.

Trust me only new or people who aren't good at this game rely on one trick ponies.

Your card is a way too good a counter. It hits almost all decks (yes priest use action cards too!). It then goes on to discard all copies and removes them from the game like Prestige does. If you can't see how unbalanced it is (like your other card), you clearly don't understand balance.

We are not hating. We just want to point out the reason why your card needs reworking.

It's not really my call to decide whether or not this card is unbalanced. That's for Eredan staff card designers. I don't get paid to hear random rants about my understanding of the game's balance.
All I asked was for people to comment based on their thoughts about the card I've suggested. I accept constructed criticism and I'll try to debate your point of view. However, if you're going to point fingers at me because you don't like my card you can go fudge yourself because I won't take that kind of bullcrap.
