Circus budget discard

Hello im trying to make a discard deck but i cant afford abyssien yet what other character would you purpose in his place i was thinking Marlok the repentant would it be a wise choice ??? thx for help

I used to use Marlock the repentant before the came out with aby, he worked pretty good back then, the biggest problem with marlock in a discard deck these days is keeping him alive long enough to use his order bonus. He should still work pretty well in a highly defensive deck with lots of illusory reflections, mirages, and so on thrown in . . . Most discard decks wont last beyond turn 5 or 6 if they are up against a high attack deck. If you could stick him with salem and the psychurgist he might be alright
