Does damage here refer to physical, magic and/or direct damage?

That's odd... My character had RAGE attached to himself. At the start of the fight, my character had 10/11 ATK already. I was blasted with SMOKE ARROW and received damage. At the end of the fight, my character still had 10/11 ATK sad
