C'mon now! Immortals are a pain in the *eres!

Don't mean to be complainant but how do i deal with immortals? I'm playing a direct damage zil and I swear that offensive + 2x chink in the armor + dagger master + massive attack scores aren't enough, they always let me a few points behind even though the final scores get up to 100's easily on both sides (and it pisses me off that 20-30% of their scores are healing). Now, I haven't got the sentence trophy card and it will be a month before it will be available in the market... I guess i only won once against them and elo rooms are full of 'em all over the place (ok, now i'm exagerating ;-P haha, but there is a good few).

And how do other kind of decks play against them?

Thanks!

Try Obesity to stop Solaris, which is, IMO, the BIGGEST pain.  I can get one of them down to -6, and 'oops, I did 14 damage (Because of Under the Desert Sun)  Oh look, I have 1 HP left!'

Thing is... Usually they have 2-3 obesity too... haha I do use obesity anyway, but...

That's a quite solid deck though... More troublesome than witchblades were in their time in my opinion... A good crow deck was enough, either that or a massive go of assassinations anyway... ;-P

I'ts definetely challenging...

Maybe Crow or Tsoutai can do it?  I don't know, I never had a Crow deck and I never played Immortal when I played Tsoutai.  Maybe even Demon Hunters can get there against them, but I don't know too many people making a deck with them since they're the most recent addition to the game.

Trackers don't do terrible against it, when I played them.  Kunai's helped with that.  Even Discard has trouble against them when they play Longevity.

True, immortals are a pain for every ELO deck.
I guess Courts are the best bet (Marlok, Ish, and the Zil - Nomad/Zil Girl) 2 breakers, 3 mani, 3 OV, etc)
Nehant Mages will work too.
I'm playing direct damage Zil too (not using chink/warrior's fury), and it's quite painful if you can't out-smart them.
Try Kiss of death and try to keep Shadow alive til the last 1 on 1.
Anyways, the Sentence trophy is your best bet.
NOTE: Guess they finally named a Caste properly, lol
NOTE2: If you can't beat them, join them tongue

Courtesans*. They somehow control them, I used a semi control / discard deck and went very well against immortals.

I know what Courtesan's are.  I meant lol wut as in 'I don't think that'd work too well.'  I'd run Sitar Hero before I ran that mage build.

Re : C'mon now! Immortals are a pain in the *eres!

well just whack em hard like MrLordi92 say tsoutai ..... well since in zill i got 2 deck (murader pack and dagger deck) in koto i have 2 as well(guem tracker and blind fury)

Blind fury" tsoutai fury"
its an all marauder deck bcz iv seen tsoutai common deck is mage build, but in my blind fury its all marauder ....

Characters:

[card]Toran the Regent[/card]
[card]Hime[/card]
[card]Akutsai[/card]

Main cards:
Flawseeker's Fury          3
Flawseeker's harmony    3
Flawseeker's Calling        3
                            total   9

the rest is up to you I dont want to spoil my deck XD but i a sure you that it kills discard in 3~5 turns and immortal in 4~6 turns ... if you got a very good hand you can finist it quickly and swiftly ... if you want you can pit shi and mi ... for an easy kill +4 attack +1 def +3 direct dammage ... you can also have katamaru for those spi defences

how about Saps? i mean the multi-race with Keizan Warrior, The claw, and Silikat/Melissandre. We know immortals have their inborn deficiencies in def and saps can deal with them knowing they can heal bit by bit. but Keizan with butterfly collar + brothers in arms + living nature and the two gals with their swift attacks even they heal it'll works for them. just my thoughts, correct me if I'm wrong.

Your cards will tell you what to do.

Re : C'mon now! Immortals are a pain in the *eres!

I'm playing Immortals and they are incredibly fun to play. They have a high range of possible strategies and longevity improves the whole gamplay.

Indeed sap hearts usually are a big pain. Courts are not a problem if you build the right set up. There are a lot of attachable items and cards and depending how you use them, you can change your strategy.

Fast damage decks can be problematic (not Zil, they can be countered easily, they have a straight-forward strategy and you can be almost sure what they are going to play). Late game, if you don't have the prestige, anathemize or ANS, they are very hard to beat

Strategies? spamming 4 core cards and prestige is not a strategy ¬¬

Hmmm, wonder if there's a good strategy to play direct damage Zils vs Immortals, my winning rate is 30% ATM. It'd be 50-50% but I can't outdamage them.
Is there a good card I'm missing? Sentence is not working as I expected lol (tho it helps vs DK's)
Also I'm not facing many kots deck, planning on remove Ill Omen.
Any ideas? My "filler" cards are Ill omen, sentence, and kiss of death, I could go x3 warriors fury or add some strategic cards like Offensive, Dissidence, Alchemical Golem..

I run nomad clerics or dk, and usually a good prestigive in solaris  solves it for me.

For a Zil marauder deck, I would still recomend removing Solaris with Prestige, no other idea since i never played Zil marauder.
