I'm not going tell Feerik how to run their business but I am going to express myself. I'm not complaining about anything being overpowered, about card prices, or anything like that. The problem I have is that this game lacks balance and something needs to be done. Today the Zil received a lot of nice new cards. Wonderful! But why so many? The same thing happened with the Kotoba release. Neither of those guilds are lacking and yet they get cream of the crop attention. Several new characters and a multitude of new cards. Compared to the average 5 released for the other guilds. Considering they were in the original guilds and have been getting new releases from the start why not spend a little extra time to build up the newer guilds. I for one love playing Zil. My s/n even has it incorporated. But I'd also like to see some different decks at the top of Elo. This game discourages deck diversity and that's a problem. I shouldn't be forced to play a certain deck if id like to be competitive. I was once a paying player. But apparently even those who spend money don't have a voice. I don't feel like im asking for anything special. Just a little balance to the game. And shouldn't that be a goal anyway? There are cards like ANS that are essentially only available to paying players (i can't see too many people grinding to a million crystals) and that's fine. But don't make me pay to be competitive and then tell me that without A-bomb or Pilkim, I still wont make it to the top. (<-- just examples. Don't need a rundown of all decks that make it to the top). This game needs balance. The players deserve it and Feerik should come though.

I have discussed this topic often enough in the past. Feerik's strategy is to release new cards every week. That is their selling campaign 'We have new cards every week!'. This is something other card games do not do, thus making it somewhat unique amongst the iTCGs.
The problem with this is, as you said, balance issues. Mostly new releases are aimed to help balance out current meta (in some odd occasions to make them even more overpowering...). Basically each weekly release leads to one or the other dominating and balance is just an ideal we all like to think of.
I have suggested a while back, that Feerik cut the idea of weekly cards and instead work on a larger release every couple months (like real life TCGs do). Mostly because this gives them plenty of time to not only work on proper coding, fix bugs and make the game run smoother, but also a large amount of time to work on balancing things out.
One of the reasons why I quit this game, is because of the way Feerik handles new cards. Not to mention the extreme price rates in such frequent bursts. I doubt anything towards balance will really change until Feerik finally grows up and discards the idea of having new shiny things every week and actually go pro like they could have, nay should have over half a year ago.

I'm not going to lie, this past week was the first time in over 2 months I've spent a cent on cards, simply because of this. And it may be the last time for a while as well until some of the things bleach said come into effect.
The new cards weekly, I could deal with (if the prices were lower), but the constant weekly balancing act is silly. Make a bunch of cards and just release a "core" balance, and then some new characters etc that benefit from them without altering gameplay per se.
That'd be the best bet IMO.
Release, say 30 cards every 3 months, and 2 character and character specific cards weekly or something.
If there were no luck in TCG, how boring would that be?

Got to agree with all, the weekly releases dosent bring balance, it only shift the weight from one side to the other.
The ideal would as bleachman said would be long period of time between releases. It does not need to be something like 3, 6 months or a year, but a period of 1 or 2 months would be ideal. It would not only give time for the staff to correct bugs, and all know there is a lot of them, but also to plan better events.
And I actually think would help Feerik sales. Would help those who set an amount of money to spend monthly, so they dont get too frustraded for spending it before a release that interest them. And those who buy all the time would keep buying anyway.

I remember this being talked about from other members besides bleachman. As I recall some of them were banned. So I will stay clear of this subject as I have many opinions about it.

As I recall, from my 8 months being a moderator in the English parts of this forum, I can only say that there has been one case in which a person was permanently banned for inappropriate behavior in this forum. It only got that far after many warnings by both moderation team and Feerik staff until Feerik eventually issued a permanent ban.
Judging alone by your posts on your new account, registered yesterday, I would say you are the same person on a different IP. But do feel free to continue such posts. The result the last time you used an alt account to do that resulted in the same measure. It's just a question of 'When?'.

i've been suggesting this idea ever since i've grasp the mechanics of eredan deeper.
WE NEED A FORMAT CHANGE specially in ELO.
there are still lot's of unbalanced cards even if you;re banning some cards in ELO. it is not enough.
what i don't understand is why cards like port are being banned and VOID and ANS can roam freely in ELO? i know theres a bug, but its not our fault there's a bug.
the mages are really OP. almost most of their release made them more stronger while others get a so-so and sometimes no effect at all in the metagame.
PS: when will craftsmen get another release?they're not having an upgrade for over a long time, while the OP mages gets an upgrade almost once in every 2 months.

Void and ANS are generic cards, when you talk about competitive play you must asume all "serious" players have access to all cards, this cards are good in almost every deck and doesn't make any archetype better than the rest.
Also, i don't like cards banned forever, port has been banned for months now and Councilor is going down the same road
