Hello there..

After starting with a Noz deck and never completing it (void and ANS are so expensive), I finally decided to sell most of my decks and retake this, thanks to the banner..

Since discard decks ruined the meta for everything not called beatdown or (even having ANS on other decks. Yes they ruined it, 800k decks lose to a 40k deck more often than not) here's the thing.

PURE OFFENSE (I know I'm missing Void, but so far so good, I didn't ran into Prestige + ANS discards yet, hope I don't ever)
I'm not using Freeze either, the worst thing that can happen is something with lots of Good Jorusiens, and Than The Sword covers that

Instead of Erevent I was using [card]Archmage Anryena[/card] with 1 [card]Crystal Storm[/card], but with or without CS, Erevent nukes Abyss better

Deck is pretty simple and standart..

Whenever I can afford Void and ANS, I'd probably remove the Burn In Hells..

Any ideas?

i think i went against a deck like that i was hit by lighting bolts lvl 3 used by pilkim with 16 spirit i think it was with void not sure but it was instant kill :x

Yep that combo is a lot easier to pull off, having banner last word and bolts at the same time is somehow situational..

Void + Ans would resolve my deck weaknesses, since I could make a big hit or use and/or reuse ANS

but well a deck like this sounds like it ain't going to be cheap but it sure sounds powerful ;D , but for the moment i'll stick with my dk's xD

I have seen this deck so often, it is not even funny. Why don't you just face some players in the level room who like to grind with these maxed out decks and just copy the rest of the deck? Its a simple version of the current meta mage decks.

I didn't got the level room thing
I've never seen an all out attack mage deck, and never seen Ere Ish and Pilk setup
Btw competitive decks are all 90% the same o.O

Dragon Fangs isn't a very good spell, it requires build-up, like arcanium... definitely not a 3-of.

Get reborn to have a chance against classic mages.

Yes, I get 2 ice barriers with her in every game (except against discards)

I have 3 Dragon Fangs, you are suggestin 1 Reborn.. 2 slots free.
Anyways, I've tried reborn, it's dead weight most of the times
Also, the other offensive spells are Arcanium and Implosion, and while Implosion sucks against low def sucks, Arcanium without ANS is exposing to bad draws

The 3-5 fire arrow is decent, reborn is usefull against noz, zil (the shadow), discard (abyssien) and other kind of mage decks.

Keep 2 dragon fangs and play reborn, and whenever you play dragon fangs, do a mental calc of how much damage would a fire arrow or an implosion do on the same situation, then you can find out wich works best for you.

I discard Dragon Fangs if I don't have the barriers up

Still, the deck is missing something and I can't see it, I'm doing pretty bad in ELO, with a such (solid?) expensive deck, while with WB's, Eclipse, and Mill, I was doing much better

I guess the smartest thing I could do is forget about trying to beat Mill decks (cuz even with all offensive cards, without ANS the odds are against me) and try to cover the other decks..

This'd be

-Erevent + Anryena
-3 Ice Fangs (not sure if I should remove this or Burn In Hells, or 1 Than the sword, or add 1 arcanium)
+ 2 Tadaa
+1 Crystal Storm

Yes, tho void targets both discard piles, the combo idea is the same

Does any fire spell consider as a burn in hell card? Because it seem that sometimes im getting hit more than 3 damages when im pretty sure the other guy discard pile doesnt have any of the 'burn in hell' card yet. O i dont use Burn in hell btw so its out of the equation.

The extra damage is probably coming from characters that give a damage bonus or from equips/cards that do the same. eg. Erevent gives a +2 damage bonus to all spells, so 3 damage becomes 5 damage, or Mage's Grand Staff gives +2 damage as well, so again 3 damage becomes 5.

And Ishaia has +1 to any spell effect
Alishk has +1 to dragonic or +2 to fire damage depending the evolution
