Preparations - Potion of Seduction

EDIT: Preparations "Def +1, and +1 if your character has no cards attached"
Potion of Seduction "Def +1 for each guild your character is associated with"

Since all courtesans have 2 guilds minimum.. what's the point of the card "preparations"? one is an item and the other is a action, but they do pretty much the same.. I suggest to modify Preparations, cause it's useless

Re : Preparations - Potion of Seduction

There is a major difference between the two cards: Card Type.

Preperations is an Action Card and Potion of Seduction is an Item Card. The latter can be easily thwarted by cards that remove item cards, e.g. [card]Freeze[/card]. The chances that the Potion will be nulled due to another card is slim, but it is still present.

Preperations offers the player an alternative to Potion of Seduction.

Just because YOU cant find the utility in a card doesnt mean it needs to get changed.  Turns out this is called Eredan ITCG, not whatever-GGuti-wants-itcg.

Re : Preparations - Potion of Seduction

Try to chain [card]Obesity[/card] with the [card]potion of seduction[/card] and you will love the [card]preparations[/card] card....
And do not say you have to play potion of seduction before obesity...
The result is not the same for your defense and for your opponent's cards....

And obesity nullifies Preparations, I don't get your point.
I just realized it says "no attached cards to your character". Since courtesans usually have OV, Manips and Ice walls, you'll only get a +1 def chain most of the times, which makes no sense ...

Also, I think this is the first "alternative" card in the game, and I don't think anyone would be using it.
Maybe the devs forgot about Pot of Seduction, or wanted to make it +2 if you have attached cards, dunno..

Courtesans using obesity? They'd reduce their def (ice wall, O.V's + base def) to counter a Action? That'd be funny, plus, Zil Courts have Council Decisition

In case you didn't notice, ice wall is for spellcaster, and all the courtesans are not Zil...
So, yes, you can use obesity to counter some assassination ans other a new start....

Yes, but if people can afford obesity (which is really rare on a court deck), they probably won't chain obesity with a +1/+2 def chain card (courtesans will have attached cards most of the time..) , they will chain it to fallbacks/tadaa's, etc.
