Jian Qiao

Expert swordsman, Jian Qiao, also cousin to Sen'Ryaku, integrates the Kotoba order of the Xzia Empire. Jian Qiao is a new character for the Kotoba, her release is followed by some brand new cards.

Zazen. Rare. Action. Kotoba. Warrior. Only playable if your character's Health points are below or equal to 5. Your character loses all his Health points and your other characters gain Attack +5 this Turn and the next two following Turns.

Weapon Throw. Rare. Kotoba. Warrior. Choose a Weapon attached to your character, this card is then discarded. Choose an opposing character, your character deals an immediate Physical Attack against the latter instead of his Normal Attack if a Weapon is discarded by the effect of this card.

Jian Qiao. (and her two upgrades). Uncommon. Character, Kotoba, Warrior, Human. Spirit 0. Attack 5/7. Defense 2. Health points 12. Gain Chain if you play a Dagger. If "Sen Ryaku" is in play and alive, the latter and "Jian Qiao" gain High Attack +1. Turns 2 and 6: Physical damage dealt by "Jian Qiao" is spread amongst all opposing characters at the end of the fight.

Iaido. Uncommon. Action. Kotoba. Warrior. If your character isn't carrying a Weapon and does not play any this Turn, the next Sword or Claw present in your Deck is played immediately after the cards have just been played and activates immediately.

Imperial Armor. Uncommon. Item Armor. Kotoba. Warrior. Defense +3.

Military Strategy. Common. Action. Warrior. Human. Attack +1 and Defense +1. Chain.

The Bushido Code. Common. Action. Kotoba. Warrior. Attack +1. An additional Attack +1 at the end of each fight. If your character plays a non-Kotoba card in the next fight, "The Bushido Code" is discarded. Permanent.

Sharpening Blades. Common. Action. Warrior/Craftsman. All your characters carrying a Weapon gain Attack +1 until the end of the game the moment this card is played.
