Philosophical debate on ishaia

Why doesn't the Philosophical debate effect work if it's play by ishaia?

Re : Philosophical debate on ishaia

I posted that same question a while back. It seems that because she ADDS 1 to the spell effects it would calculate the card effect like so:  -1 spirit + 1 spirit = 0 spirit

I too thought it would "double" the effect and make it so all the opponents would get -2 spirit, but that is not the case. I guess it is the devs way of keeping Ishaia in check.

Let me guess, you were going to try and use her with a crow deck? big_smile

Yes...I thought the same to, for my opinion the effect should be -2 spirit, usually need them to fight mage, witchblade, to put on a crow deck also gonna be awsome, ok thanks for the info
