Item Armor and Item Armor Shield

I have not tried this yet during a game since I did not want one taken off and replaced with the other, but...

If I am wearing armor, say [card]Dragon Armor[/card] and wanted to wear a [card]Deirf Geiss's Shield[/card] as well, since they are both armor, would the Dragon Armor then be replaced by the shield, or would he wear both?

As I said I have not tried it since during a game I count on each item I play working for me, not against me, and not want to lose an armor already in play just because I wanted to try adding more armor (In my mind it seems that you should since people can wear armor and a shield, whereas it is far more unlikely to use a spear or any 2 handed weapon with a shield, yet in this game you can)

So just curious, is it possible? Or is the idea of stacking armors a pipedream?

Would love to see a new Dragon Knight character (Whether he be a Mage, Warrior, Marauder, or a combo)
Would also love to see a Mage/Priest character (Aside from Ateb lvl 3 who's the only one I know of)

Yes, you would lose the other.  Only 1 armor may be played, even if its an armor and a shield.  The shield identified is only there for cards like shield bash and what not that effects characters equipped with shields.  I agree that it doesnt really make sense from a practical stand point, but I can understand it from a game play point of view, I suppose.  Hares packing Runic gauntlet and armor would be pretty brutal.  I dont think it would be game breaking, but painful all the same.
