I was thinking of building a deck around Djamena, and wanted to know of some good suggestions. I'm tossed between temple guardians + eclpise. I was leaning more towards TG, but i'll need to sell a dazzle or 2 to afford the three ...will be your GRAVE i'd need >.<

From what I can see, Djamena in a TG deck acts as a healer. She can keep Ahmid in play for quite a while, and she has better attack than Ahlem, although Ahlem does have that +1 health bonus and +3 health turn bonus.
Lady Jane can kick your ass.

i was thinking of Ahmid, Djamena, and Aziz, but the WBYG, and Solaris are just so expensive. Now if someone bought my foil Dazzle, it would make life a lot easier. Shoot, they buy that, i could afford Keizan, and a couple sap heart cards to go with Melisandre

If you are thinking about building a deck around djamena the first thing I'd suggest is taking dazzle off the market since I'm pretty sure you need it to upgrade her from 2-3

i said forget it, sold both my reg dazzle for 50k each, and make a sap heart deck seeing i got Mellisandre from a booster. I'll worry about a TG deck later.

I know you said you gave up, but I thought I would throw in my deck
It's not very specific yet, but I have been running [card]Djamena[/card]/Eclipse [card]Kararine[/card]/[card]Sphinx [/card]and it seems to be doing pretty good for me...
I've got a few +spirit items that get me to about 7 spirit, then throw a [card]aura of faith[/card] for a nice boost.
Add a nice [card]sacred nova[/card] as a backup, and with a high spirit you can one shot people.
If only i didnt lose a [card]Will Be Your Grave[/card] to [card]Djamena[/card]...but it really doesn't seem to hurt too much.

okay, selling a few cards i don't use i culd actually make my deck. This is what i have, and want to know about any tips i could do to make it better.

It feels like i'm just a wee bit off here. i thought about a sacred aura, and maybe an anathemize. not terribly sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated ^^
edit: i removed expiation + a temple sword and dropped a couple Solar's Anger in there instead. At level 2, makes Djamena a 12/12 <3

I would recommend taking this extra xp time to level a Youss and make Sphinx instead of Aziz. I would highly recommend 1-2 sacred novas also. The damage they do affects the healing of soloris so the sacred nova/soloris combo is too good to pass up even if it's for the one character. past that maybe another Under the Sun, or a Divine Light.
With the Sacred Novas and the obesitys and the speed of the This Tomb Will be your Grave combo you can beat items have a soul at least half the time without anamathize. don't think it's necessary
Taking out the 1 temple sword and the expiration was a good choice i think, would have been my first suggestion

Isn't better if you use Djanema as a healer, since you have 3 temple guardians? Equip Spear of Light in her and you can heal a lot cause you wont die easily. I just think that is a waste to have high spirit on her and don't use it for healing.
I wish I could try it, but I sold almost all my Nomads.
Now a newbie question: Sacred Nova damage isn't spirit based, right? Its 0-10 damage reduced by the opp spirit, is that correct?

spear of light won't heal too much, it heals based on printed attack score i believe. also doesn't activate immeditely then i feel it's too slow. Sacred Nova does 0-10, casters spirit does not affect, oppoents spirit affects damage they take. that's why it helps beat items have a soul, if you got the guy to low hp the first three rounds it can take him out even with his 12 defense from Itos.

well, i changed a few things again, lol. i dropped the temple swords in favore of guardian spears, and have Djmena on healing duty while i work Aziz and Youss up to combine them. here's the new set up: (which is working a lot smoother btw ^^)

i do have to agree, i like the swords activating right away, but thanks to Youss that doesn't matter anyways >.< who would have guessed Djamena would be a beast in physical and healing? Kinda nice. i plan when i work up enough crystals to build an eclipse deck around her too. Just to have the option to mix things up

spears are good, the Drief Griss(sp?) sword and shield combos would be better if you have them but the spears work. maybe desert scimitars when Aziz is can chain them. Maybe some "win using fervors" instead of spiritual defense since you have to level 3 of them for Divine Light.

the tomb/grave combo is not as good as all is fair/and war. for one reason that requires math:
turn 1-3
this tomb: att+3 hp-3/ grave: att+3 opponent def-2 so.... 3+3+2-3= overall gain 5
all is fair: att+3/0 and war: att +3 so.... 3+3= overall gain of 6
so if your chars are sphinx, kararine, djamena
{with sphinx}
tomb/grave: stats before attack will be: sp: 1 att: 15/15 def: 1 hp: 14 and opponent -2 def
-this is bad because sphinx is now an easy one shot. playing high lvl player a last word/rain of death, last word/ than the sword, than the sword/than the sword, rain of death/burn in hell, telendar, shadow, abom, even kotoba can one shot sphinx and you will most likely not kill them
all is fair/ and war: stats before damage sp:1 att:15/15 def: 1 hp 17
-he is now not easy to one shot but it can still be done (i have never had sphinx 1 shot) but time to die+ assassination will pretty much one shot anyone
with Djamena:
tomb/grave: stats before damage: spirit:2 att: 15/17 def: 0 hp: 13
-this is very bad as DJ is the only char in this build that can use the nova/solar anger combo and she is an easy one shot but will do some serious damage before going down
all is fair/and war: stats before damage: sp: 2 att: 15/15 def: 0 hp: 16\
- she is very difficult to one shot (again it could be done) but for 2 less high attack you a guarenteed a kill on prophet and telendar and will leave most high def chars with little health (1-5 on average) and not only have you done big damage but you are free to use nova/solar anger if you draw it for even more insane damage (nova is still luck though)
so basically with tomb/grave: you are doing great damage not gonna lie, but you are making your chars far to easy of a one shot and even solaris won't bail you out.
and with all is fair/and war also the honest truth is a one shot is possible but highly unlikely. but this is only my opinion.

so i just have acquired the crystals to buy 3 of the love/and war combo. As for how it works? all 3 of my ...Will be your GRAVE! are in the market now, lol. Yes, i miss the -2 to defense, but i'm not missing the -3 to my hp ^^
