Suspicion of treason not working

Hey there,

   So i have shadow against Anazra. Its turn four. On her previous turn anazra played dragons wit Paladins hammer. So i am expecting a dragons wit solars anger combo this turn. It is my initiative on turn 4 - and i have the perfect card to stop this. Suspicion of treason - should turn her into a merc rendering her unable to use dragons wit (which is a Noz Dingard only card) - im here thinking i am awesome and they are useless - BUT NO - Anazra is turned into a merc and dragons wit still works - rendering me useless and subsequently dead. So suspicion of treason is bugged in this situation.

Treason before or after Wit in the resolution?

If Wit played first, treason wouldn't matter.

If there were no luck in TCG, how boring would that be?
