Question about Time to die

I have a very interesting question about [card]Time to die[/card], it promised to double action card att bonus, let us see if I have one action card with minus attack "bonus", like [card]The Timeless One[/card], what effect if I combo with [card]Time to die[/card], does it degrade opponents attck -4 * 2 = -8? I didn't try coz I playing Noz mags deck, I have time to die, but never had chance to use it.

If not, I guess the description of Time to die need a litter modification "only if the bonus larger than 0"

well technically the word "bonus" means in 'addition to', so taking attack away is not considered a bonus..

The blank vast gaze which grins lay thin..
