The Rogue Zil

Line:
[card]Golemarlok[/card] 4
[card]Telendar[/card] 3
[card]the Shadow[/card] 5

Actions:
2 [card]Assassination[/card]
2 [card]Oh, I'm Good![/card]
2 [card]Bite[/card]
2 [card]Up your Ass[/card]
3 [card]All Is Fair in love...[/card]
3 [card]...And War![/card]
1 [card]Time to Die[/card]!
2 [card]Obesity[/card] (i know it's mean, but works wonders)
items
2 [card]Scroll of Immobility[/card]
1 [card]Elfine Bow[/card] lvl 2(!)

See... no spells, few chain cards but let's talk about it:

1: it is not mage based and [card]dark light[/card] got burdensome after a while;
2: Telendar is the great one shooter here for: time to die + assassination + order +  warrior opponent = `fuck's sake! He did it` ()
Golemarlok on 2nd turn equipped with scroll (if the opponent has high def status) and bow makes it all easier tho one shoot someone on the 3rd turn and can be a good `finish off`on the fourth turn if all the opponents are heavily damaged
i think the rest is very obvious and the main strategy is very basic, but a good opening hand can get anything sorted...

You can't equip the Elfine bow. Its guild specific to Sap Heart warriors.

Golemarlok can equip it because he is a Golem.

Re : The Rogue Zil

Golemarlok, being a golem, is great at countering decks that use items if you have some "steal"s handy.

I tried it out but i doesn`t seem to work really well... i'm trying freeze instead:
- 1 [card]Oh, i'm good[/card]
+ 1 [card]freeze[/card]
coz  OIG is not useful or handy in  ALL the situatios but it is on MOST of them , and high level players i've been facing are buildin' up crafts and it's good to surprise foam giant with that

shame it is not shadow spell... tongue

Golemarlok is my favorite golem, 2nd to foamy. And besides that he can use steal, can't count how many times I won a game by stealing stuff either by "burrowing" paladin hammers or catching shurikens:P.

Re : The Rogue Zil

Maybe it's just me not having the crystals for any good items, but since people at high levels play high level equipment, why let them?  Why not take it and use it against them?

Worked really well for me during the Halloween tourny, (which although wasn't that great,) in which I messed up a lot of people by having Marlok's Golem steal a pally's hammer, only to Watcher and take their life devourer, or masks afterwards.

It messes up a lot of those "life stealing dagger" decks.

YES!  I love stealing shurikens!  Really "catches" trackers off-guard.

Completely forgot about that. Haven't really played Zil since before Dark joined The Pack.

gonna go a little off topic, can't really imagine how a shuriken "returns" back to your hand, they should change the card to "boomerang":P.

Because ninjas - I mean, uh... "trackers" NEVER run out of shuriken, as long as they have some.  Come on, they've always got fifty-thousand of 'em.

i was wondering about catching shurikens, what happen if u steal one? does it go back to its owner hand or what?

anyway, i've tried [card]Mashtok[/card] - [card]The Shadow[/card] - [card]Golemarlok[/card] deck but i have no idea how it can be more effective than using [card]Telendar[/card] instead.

point is, I've no idea how to use him other than stealing ppl's stuff, which suuure was fun, but not as effective. once i switch him back with [card]Telendar[/card], win ratio simply went up high

You become the owner, and so it returns to your hand.  After all, stealers keepers, right?

hahaha, very interesting. I almost stole one, but since I fear it'll just go back to it's real owner's hand, I stopped

That's why I usually steal their items instead of merely having them discarded.
