When I first saw the witchblades of the Noz-dingard envoys I was really impressed and got them and it worked out until I found out that there is no third upgrade except combining two pretty good cards into a really shitty card called "eglatine and moira"(attack4-9,spirit 2, defense 2, hp 13).

So I think they should change it so there are two seperate rank 3 eglatine and moira the witchblades.

eg.

moira the witchblade (rank 3) warrior-mage-witchblade, human, Noz-dingard envoys
attack: 5/8
spirit: 2
Defense:2
HP: 14
Turn 3,5: Defense +1
If eglatine is in play, defense +3.

Eglatine the witchblade (rank 3) marauder-mage-witchblade, human , Noz-dingard envoys

attack: 6/9
spirit:2
Defense:2
HP: 13
Turn 2,6: attack +1
If moira is in play, defense +3.

(+some random flavor texts for both)

So the system should implement this and then downgrade ppl with the combined cards into the 2 rank 2 cards of the witchblades with half/full exp.
For those of you that may say the defense +3 is a bit too high but it's nothing when going up against rank 3 zii warriors with like attack of 8/12 or kotobas with like a defense of 5 like xin the ironbringer.
So unless it's too much of the bother to bring this about in terms of changes to the system I would like this to happen

oh yeah that could work too! thx for pointing that out.......if only they didn't add in the 3rd one though cuz after seeing that I have lost all my appetite for training witchblades

yeah compare to having oth lv 2 out in same deck the lv 3 fails. Hopefully they dont leave that card like that and add a 4th evo to it.

The admins are not really fond of modifying existing cards so I doubt you'll get a 4th evolution.

In the meantime, seeing this week event we should get at least one new witchblade tomorrow.

Which is sad, since all they have to do is add 1 more defence and then make its low attack 6 to make it more competitive...... also adding dragon knight would make me happy.

I was also really disappointed when I saw the stats for the level 3 card... Its a complete waste... Unless they have something balancing planned for the future...

It's true, the third upgrade only has an average stat value of 5.875.
Compared to Moira at level 2, of 5.750, it's only a slight increase, and completely removes the awesomeness of the defense buffs.

Even new characters who seem like they should be utilitarian are higher. Take Delko for instance, at level 3 he's got a 6.375. Not such a fair comparison, since he's the best craftsman, stat-wise, but still, most level 3 upgrades are at least a 6.

However... good news... they can cast magic. There aren't many MAGES that are above 6. Bombzar, Golemarlok, StoneEater, Ateb are mixes. Watchmaker and Keizan are rares. So cheer up, for a character who can cast magic, it's not too bad at 3rd upgrade. Nope they are bad, in fact if it weren't for the fact that they can cast spells they would be hopeless... meh they still hopeless even with spells. I mean adding just one more defense would make this card so much better.
