Second suggestion was more of a "heat of the moment" kind of thing (fought 3 people in a row that did it to me...). So, upon further though, I take it back.
First suggestion was an honest suggestion I was about to make before i went on a compendium mage losing streak.
Unstoppable would be a great addition. The only thing I would add to my suggestion is to make any "unstoppable" card have no guild requirement and make it weaker <-- which was suggested before by multiple people and I definitely agree. Dont make it "+1 attack" weaker, but some sort of drawback would be decent.
but killing a necromancian is already a crippling effect for the undead , if fake death could only be used by he necromancian it would make it impossible to win once the necromancian is dead
Its not really THAT crippling. There are already necrosis's in the graveyard (most likely) by the time it would happen so the other zombies should be able to pull off a win if the battle was played right.
1st suggestion: Unstoppable cards
With all the cards out that hinder your ability to play (specifically general fray... I have nothing against Obesity and other cards like it, but general fray is just... annoying), I suggest another kind of card that is unstoppable if it has been played (even if the guild of the character is not the same guild as the card when it is the cards turn to be played <-- in order to counter dissidence) OR a card that is played before all other cards regardless of turn order.
Note: this should be available for all classes and guilds EXCEPT mages. Mages would be able to easily abuse this card ability... and they dont really need it. (they can already chain spells... isnt that just enough)
2nd suggestion: Played card limit
Something Ive noticed when fighting mages in particular is that, if lucky, they can play nearly every card in their deck on their first or second turn.
Example: Noz compendium deck: use pyth first and use attach crystal storm. discard an "attracts lightning" from your hand. Second turn, after whatever the opponent picks (doesnt matter), use compendiums secret first to bring back the attracts lightning and chain mastery with it.
Heres the order (and this actually happened to me...): compendiums secret --> Mastery --> Attracts Lightning --> Attracts Lightning --> Spark things off --> Attracts Lighning --> Attracts Lightning --> Spark things off
Thats 8 cards... 5 of which did (increasing) damage.
Heres the point: There should be a card play limit of 5 cards
Requires a living necromancian.
Only mages are necromancians.That's good enough.
It gains chain if used by a necromancian, but it does not require a living necromancian to be used.
It would be okay if it required a living necromancian to be used. That way, killing the necromancian (which lessens the damage it takes by either reducing damage done or increasing defense and spirit) would be a weakness. A zombie should not be able to bring back the necromancer.
As the topic suggests... I really dont see how zombies should be able to bring OTHER zombies back... technically only necromancers should be able to do it. If youre gonna introduce a new aspect of gameplay involving revival (i like it btw), give it a little bit more of a weakness than just taking 1 more damage on occasion.

Hi guys! I just wanted opinions on my Zil deck on how to make it better than it already is. Ive been through a hellofalot of fights with it already (always tweaking it to make it more versatile) and decided to share it and get some feedback. Ill give an explanation as to why each card is in the deck after the card name and if you guys think theres a card I could/should replace, feel free to let me know
Also, just a side-note: I have a ridiculous amount of unique trophy cards, so if you guys have any ideas for replacements for those (ill give some of my own ideas) so that other people can take advantage of the deck, feel free to post them
Here it is:
[card]Zil, the Living shadow[/card]Can be replaced with Telendar or really any other high-hitter like The Shadow
[card]Saphyra the Zil[/card]Key card (+1 damage done directly and physically)
[card]Abomination[/card]Just a high hitter which i found is better to have in the deck than telendar. Also takes advantage of Light and Shadow shield to net less cards in the deck. (its easily replaceable once a better marauder or marauder-warrior comes out)
[card]Artrezil's Blade[/card]x3 key in the deck. chain along with 1 damage (which becomes 2 with Saphyra)
[card]Assassination[/card]x2 now this is what is replaceable. Its a good card and serves its attacking purpose
[card]At Daggers Drawn[/card]x1 used to get a dagger and dagger master when im in a pinch... it has saved me many many times
[card]Dagger Master[/card]x1 5 damage to all opponents (6 if used by anyone other than Saphyra if she is still alive)
[card]hidden blades[/card]x1 2(3) damage with a choose-able target when theres already a dagger equipted. Great for when you have that one last out-of-combat character, not to mention it brings back a dagger (which can just be discarded if you dont wanna use it)
[card]It is time[/card]x1 Mainly used for Zil's and Saphyra's bonus. Can be used after Dagger Master with Saphyra to grant her an attack after Dagger Master reduces attack to 0
[card]Master Assassin[/card]x3 Not replaceable for obvious reasons... basically, its Assassination on crack cocaine.
[card]ShadowBlade[/card]x1 This card is only here because, as I have found, having one card that increases spirit and reverses healed damage is good to have. Its mainly used against mages, immortals, and on abomanation so that people cannot make him lose a card with The Secret of the Crow.
[card]Telendar's black blade[/card]x1 used for discard purposes. Necessary when fighting golems or anyone else that piles on the equip-table items/cards.
[card]Time to die[/card]x1
[card]The secret of the Crow[/card]x1
[card]Offensive[/card]x1
[card]Light and shadow shield[/card]x1
[card]Artrezil's heritage[/card]x1
[card]28 zombies later[/card]x1
20 card deck. 19 with the shield so I can get key cards slightly faster.
This deck is meant to win around turn 3-4-(5) (rarely 5). If I ever get to turn 6, its either because im fighting a nasty kotaba defense deck, im fighting a tempus deck, or im losing
Sentence is a card i rarely use, but it is usable in the deck as well for those of you who end up fighting healers a lot.

Would definitely make for some more interesting Kotaba crow decks (which were always one of my favorite castes)
Unfortunately, I do not have a screenshot of it (when I thought of taking one, It was too late). I believe one of the cards was unfortunate encounter, but I did have my turn bonus.
If I see it again, ill definitely screen-shot it.
I have a question... im not sure if this is a bug or not, but how does someone who has wild bud attached do a total of 17 damage to one person(that person is the only one alive), when there are only 2 nature spells on the field? The enemy character had 2 spirit... so to me, this doesnt make sense O.O
2+4+2=8, NOT 17...

He means at Deck creation.
Imagine a deck you often swap (for example, if you use Demonic Portal deck to do different Adventure Modes, you don't need Demon May Rise against the nehantist boss, but you need against others)
Thats exactly what I mean. This is just meant to make it faster and easier to switch out cards in your deck. Game-play should not be effected by this at all.
You mean like a bunch of cards that "belong" to the Deck but aren't exactly in the Deck, so that you can swap faster?

A lot of other games have something like this to make switching out cards easier. I cant really say that the result would be worth the effort though, since its just something that might make some of our game-lives easier
if enough people read this and like it, lets hope Eredan thinks about doing it
I think it would be a great idea to implement a side-deck feature to the game. This way, people who compete in ELO have some immediate cards to look through when one of their staple cards are banned (rather than having to siphon through their whole collection for a decent replacement)
The side deck can have a limit of 15-20 cards just in case any cards get banned or changed for an ELO or other competition.
Thoughts?

AND, as already stated, once a new runic priest comes out, she will be obsolete, so gameplay-wise, she is completely useless... collection wise... well shes a freakin common, so theres no real merit to it because she can be obtained in one pack, and art-wise, while the artist did a great job (I seriously mean that, good job), Saphyra woulda looked SO much better. Again I say, nubs will be nubs (they will vote the way nubs would vote...)
Someone found an "infinity deck" whose most expensive card costs less than 5k cx. Needless to say that the boss will be tuned to prevent farming with "infinity deck", but in the mean time there is room for low cost decks to perform (if you have time, that is).
Stupid question: if you do find an "infinity deck" apart from the one that was found already, will the boss keep getting adjusted?
... I have lost my faith in all newbies of this game. As for the veterans/older players (basically, most people who posted on this thread), Saphyra lost... and will NEVER BE ENTERING THE COMPETITION AGAIN............. New players aren't stupid.
Dedicated and investing players are always those who enjoy a challenge.
Failing at first, but seeing your results improve as you learn, is very rewarding and hooks a player to a game.This change I am suggesting simply removes some "checks", essentially making the game lighter and more open for future interesting cards and combos.
As for new players not being stupid, while I agree, I disagree with the assumption that they will not play stupidly because they dont know the game. This implementation would indeed make the game less beginner-friendly.
Dont get me wrong, I REALLY love the idea, but the idea would be more appropriate for more advanced players. On that note, I propose another battle type called "advanced" which alters the game rules a bit. One example of the alterations could be this (ability to play cards you cant normally play, ultimately ending in the card failing to activate unless a certain condition is met). Adding this and some other rule alterations would be great for the advanced players, but would not hurt beginners.
Now, the problem with my idea is a problem stated before:
The idea would alter the base programming of the game and would bring forth a hellovalot of bugs and glitches that would have to be patched. Its a great idea in the future, but its too soon to implement it now cause, face it, we will all complain about it in some way, shape or form.

thanks, and yes, i tried that as well.
I just tried to use Mozilla Firefox and i was able to get on. I primarily use google chrome though (I like it a LOT better). Ill use firefox temporarily though :I
