Are dissodence and Litmus Test cards you get in the market place?

#2 Re : Deck and Strategy » WHY ARE HALF THE CARDS YOU NEED FOR DISCaRD NEVER THERE! » 09-01-2012 18:32:43

Great thread.

Just wanted to point out that one of the main reasons your seeing a lot of the discard deck options going quickly in the marketplace is because it is the cheapest deck to build that has a shot at being capable of winning against the PVE bosses. I also don't expect that to change any time soon, so expect to keep seeing a low number of cards out there and expect to see higher prices.

I don't know what your talking about with the Noz boss being easy with a discard deck. He freaking get's half his cards back with hidden effects.
I mean I guess if you get look away and treacherous for all 3 of your first rounds, but otherwise...

Doh, my bad. Man, that sucks, cause that card would be the BOMB.

Ah, well.

Found Extinction in the market finally. EXACTLY the card I need. But, it's a pirate item? Can Zil use it? If not, can I add in a pirate with 2 zill? And in that case, which Pirate should I use? At this point I have to have a perfect card draw AND get lucky not to get 1 shot in the first two rounds to win. Not exactly what I had in mind (Currently using a level 3 Salem, level 2 Terrific, and level 3 Dark)

I finally took out Kabota with a mostly complete discard deck. Used Salem, Marlock the repentant, and the Psycurgist (levels, 3, 2, and 2). I have 3 panic, look away, Treacherous, I hate Brawlers, and theft cards (the rest are trash). I think tomorrow I am going to try switching out Marlock (who is pretty useless with the cards that I have and breaker is just to expensive (5K) for it to be reasonable to keep him in the deck. Think I am going to replace him with Terrifik and add in some sunburns, which I think will make this a somewhat playable deck.

Doh, my bad. Seems reasonable then.

Guess I should learn to read!

Marlock and breaker looks like a great combo. But clumsiness is way out of my price range. It runs for around 20K, and you'll need at least 2 to be effective, and at that point you are no longer talking about a cheap deck.

#9 Re : Deck and Strategy » Adventure Deck » 30-12-2011 19:53:03

Well, I appreciate the advice given, but it seems that any non zil discard deck is going to be to expensive for me. So, I got Psych and Salem, and I guess I could throw in a Marlock and get a discard deck going.

So basically, we have to get to the point where we kill the other player this turn or lose due to being exhausted, and somehow manage to do this 30 times? Seriously? I would be amazed if I have done this once in almost 400 fights. And now you want me to somehow manage this 30 times in 5 days? Gee, thanks for putting an attainable goal out there.

As far as I can see, the only possible way to complete this would be to get together with someone who is willing to throw matches, which kinda takes away the whole point of playing.

Unless I am missing some sort of trick, I guess I'll have to pass on this one.

Been trying this out on the Kabota boss. I don't know how you get deep enough in the match to win this fight. Ramen and Jayn both get one shot, and even if you get a perfect draw, Kokrem dies in the second fight.

#12 Re : Deck and Strategy » Adventure Deck » 28-12-2011 23:53:08

What about adding Time Poison to the deck? Seems like that would be brutally effective.

Also, would Good Fortune be good as a removal card?

#13 Re : Deck and Strategy » Adventure Deck » 28-12-2011 19:52:17

Giving it a shot. Short a couple of items (and getting a discard card might take a while) but gotta level up Jayne and Ramen anyway.

#14 Re : Deck and Strategy » Adventure Deck » 28-12-2011 07:03:49

Is there an easy deck to build without exordiam or extinction?

#15 Re : Deck and Strategy » Adventure Deck » 27-12-2011 22:47:58

Well, I have been able to beat zahal pretty easily. I now have a decent Ice Elf deck, which is about 50/50 against Sap Heart boss. But sadly all of the other levels destroy me. Saving now for a powder pirate deck, but sadly I'm beginning to think that it will be a long time before I have a shot in hell of beating any of the other bosses.

Although, after doing a bit of looking at Zil Discard decks, I would think a zil discard deck focused on panic and treacherous might work pretty well, and would be decently cheap. Might have to look at that a little more closely.

Could you expand on that weapons at will deck? I did a search and the decks I found all cost a few hundred K to build.

I am an FTP player, and have been building  an Ice Elf Deck. I have also been saving up to build a pirate powder deck. I am getting destroyed by the adventure bosses (outside of one area) and was wondering what would be a good, relatively easy to construct deck to take those buggers out.
