Nevermind, apparently playing on facebook hides the button, at least for me. :x
I'm a relatively new player, as I just started about a week ago. Upon starting up the game, the first task on my list was to utilize the "Earn Free Fee'z" option, filling out surveys and the like. After acquiring a few boosters I put this on pause to start enjoying the game. I sold the few rare cards I received and started constructing a deck with around 200k from sales. Now further developing my deck has come to a grinding halt, so I went back to earn more fee'z...
The "Earn Free Fee'z" link is now gone, and to my misfortune its not a temporary issue. I've done a little digging and found some ancient posts on Travian's takeover. All I could find was an old thread stating that accounts created after 3-3-11 would not have the option to earn free fee'z while accounts previously created would maintain this ability. Whether this is the case or not, why was I allowed this feature to have it revoked shortly thereafter?
Thanks
He was nomad, not zil.
Zurga... I did have an emerald sword equipped, thank you
Idk how I didn't notice lol
Thank you for the informal responses. This was more a hypothetical (uninformed) complaint than formal, as two of my three questions were circumstantial, referring to the full handed zero deck loss being the case. The other was whether or not this was the case.
No card was used to remove cards from my hand, there was only a heal spell that had been used multiple times throughout the game without having such effects. Unfortunately I cannot recall the exact description of the card. I messaged my opponent shortly after the game asking how I lost with a full hand, and he could offer no explanation either.
Regardless, the fact that a five card hand can stall endlessly makes me a very happy camper. Thank you both.
Also... don't get me started on discard decks. I won't throw out any insults, as much as I'd love to.
This is somewhat long-winded, I appreciate those of you who take the time to read this.
I'm relatively new to this game, just started about 6-7 days ago. I'm a free player, so my understanding of many of the strategies and game mechanics is pretty minimal as my access to more than one deck is virtually non-existent for the time being. I'm currently using a kotoba weaps at will deck in the amnezy tourney, and seem to be doing ok, as my elo is going up.
The problem I'd like to address here, is as follows. I was playing against a nomad theurgy deck, and winning by all means. My opponent had one char left with no buffs/equips to my two equipped warriors. He was spam healing, but dealing little to no damage to my chars, while his heals were enough to drag out the match, but not keep him alive. I had five cards in hand, and zero remaining in my deck while his character was at about five hp. I did not use a card, as I didn't want to hand over the win via lack of cards to draw, and got him down to one hp when that turn was said and done.
To my surprise, I lost immediately thereafter due to a lack of cards to draw while I had a full hand... I asked a couple people about this to find that you can not go more than two rounds with an empty deck regardless of needing more cards or not. If the latter is true I'd like to ask the following. First, why do healing strategies, along with strategies employed by Ishea users and the like exist with such limitations on the game. I successfully played out my deck's strategy without needing to draw beyond my twenty card limit and should have been allowed to beat him senseless with my weapon and armor bearing warriors (is this not what the kotoba warriors are intended to do?). My second question would be, why is this fair?
I'd also like to note the fact that this and other decks that fall under the "drag it out as long as possible" category have access to card(s) that recycle their discard piles, one such card was employed in said game. This only goes to show that they can not only extend a game to seemingly endless lengths with their standard 20 card deck, but reduce the odds of them running out of cards by a ridiculous percentage I'm not going to attempt to calculate, and further drag out the game employing the same strategy a second time.
Lastly, I don't much care about this loss in particular, I've simply referenced it several times to form a better understanding of the issue at hand. Also, if this loss occurred due to a glitch or bug, please inform me as I'd be overjoyed.
Thanks!
If this issue has been addressed before, let me apologize for re-posting. Though it would go to show the consistency of the bug.
I was in a tournament game moments ago, where the opponent had 3 or more items available to destroy. I activated "Smash That Iron!" which (as it normally does) blacked out all cards but those I could choose to destroy. To my surprise, a split second after I activated the card (with the card I would destroy in mind beforehand) the combat phase initiated without me, and as if that wasn't enough, all the blacked out cards remained blacked out for the remainder of the game.
Its not like I'm high rated in the tourney or anything of the sort, but it is pretty frustrating when you "had" a victory locked in.
