my i ask why your undead cards pick on the sap hearts? i dont understand the reasoning myself. i like the ideas of them tho smile, and i sujest maybe increaseing there stats a bit and dropping there defence to zero, since there undead and all, i kinda expect them to not be preocupided with defending themselves, like alot of the nomads, it also gives you an excuse to make them even stronger...

alot of the time ill only use her bow if i get it for her first fight, if i dont i discard it, i love it when i use her with red mark and elder m and there dead and i suddenly replace the bow with amber sword, and them keep useing scouting the area lvl2 to buff up her defence and keep her alive, most people never expect her to be a tank, but like all things it depends on the opponet...

Ones I've had work well:

Pure Elfine
Ydiane/Melissandre/Gaya
It's a bit slower but a lot more stable and can take some decks that other Elfine decks typically have big problems on.  If you can't figure out how to run it well you haven't looked hard enough, there is PLENTY of interesting combinations.

Melissandre the Invincible
Ydiane/Melissandre/Jayane
What scarier then Melissandre?  Melissandre that doesn't die on the 4th or 5th round.  If you've got Multitasking, maybe two will keep on the beatings(or a really healthy Mel)

Arrows that block out the Sun
Ydiane/Melissandre/Aryhpas
Aryhpas, who is that?  No one ever thinks about her.  All she is is a priest that can go in any deck and equip any equipment.  Totally worthless.  Ydiane is troublesome with an Elfine Bow, Mel is a pain with it too, all three with bows and Aryphas healing?  Watch all three opponents drop in the same round for fun.

Elfine Chi
Ydiane/Melissandre/Ragnar
Whats that?  Ragnar doesn't belong here?  But you have 7 low attack and Quick Draw and if he suicides with Fury potion or whatnot, your elfs get buffed.  Quicker then the average elf.  Throw in IHAS, desert and elfine bow, Life Devourer, Simple dagger, Idol of Life, Crown of the Border, Amber Spear, whatever and someone is going to town even if they aren't getting the defense.  People forget this is still quite an effective card without Homchi.

Treetop sniping
Ydiane/Warrior Mage Kei'zan/Warrior Mage Hailwalker
This deck pretty much covers all bases.  Low defense?  Quick Attacks and Ydaine. Only one has low defense?  Elfine Bow.  Dependant on chains?  Your characters are all rooted.  Low spirit?  Here is some Magic Poison.  Need to survive?  How about some super Bark armor?  One last attack?  Have an IHAS to the face.

Defend the World Tree
Melissandre/Warrior Mage Kei'zan/The Claw
Who uses The Claw?  Just because she has a 7 low attack that works well with Quick Attack and chains two handed weapons like Amber Spear...  Mel chains her Life Devourers and continues eating your low defense face with impunity.  Bark Armor, IHAS, the usuals and very quickly you'll eat any deck that doesn't start with 5+ defense.  Even then it's just an arms race that you could easily win.

I have another deck I'm playing around with but I don't expect it to be a winner, just really silly fun.  But the biggest thing is don't be afraid to break the mold and make something interesting and different, you can still do well, especially when your opponent is quite confused how to play against you.

i agree with you, messing with the traditional straegys is fun an people dont expect it, im currently running yadiane, red mark, and bearcupine, i havent lost with it yet, and im not even useing ihas or quickdraw, i focus on just weopon chaining and stuff, altho i do have to say i try avoiding her bow cuz it can backfire easily. i also sometimes run spirit speaker instead of bearcupine, if i use them in the right order i can easily throw spells like root and fireball together, makes a good combo...

i like the idea, but from what i saw i have questions. why dose the kotuba version aslo help the sap? wouldent it help the kotuba? and i like that ability too, if you made each path have it foreither the sap ot kotuba it would be really helpful with the hoi'chi, i think atleast

ok i also chose Noz and do regret it, its hard to build off of, exspecialy if you want to switch guilds, as i started to do from game 1 (once i relized how alsome the Sap were) but i belive as long as you keep putting cards back in it and work with it its a decent deck, altho az is kinda useless

ok, i use bearcupine lol, his attack is suckish, but still...

back on topic, they need to do something alot of the sap heart cards feel kinda broken, in the next batch of sap heart cards they need to include a new jewel even if they do fix idol. the guild has two jewel chainers, and two jewels. the deck needs a new option for the two, and a sap heart dagger for hailwalker, just to follow the trend, and amber dagger, cuz ultimatly the entire deck feels shut off, like the new sap heart courtsen, who is WAY too much of a pirate to be called a sap heart, and the pirates with its recent additions have moved the saps to the weakest guild, atlest for people of low levels like me (9) cuz let me just say i got owned by armada like 5 different times today lol

yeah she dose look like a sap heart, but with the zil that dosent matter, look at morlck or how ever you spell his name hes like a Noz and stuff, yet hes zil, its like the zil take in the traitors and stuff so it seems like a good fit for the zil, altho i think the flavor text needs some work, it seems kinda random, but i get what your trying to say with it

i agree, i lost SOOOOO many of my of my first matches (like all of them) with my noz deck because i spent all my money on buying sap heart cards, it would of been amazing if i could of started with any of the guilds i think i might actually have a good chance to win in stead of being hindered by my lack of cards

i dont see the point of thuregys added, i mean there are no sap heart priests so it would be a useless add on, altho i do use the jewl with my wreak wood and spirit speaker, its come in handy, but every time it did i got lucky, in one situation i killed hares the brute lvl 3 in turn 2 with a combo but it ive never gotten it agian, im all for opening up the idol of life to all sap hearts, but i think that the hom'chi restriction is there to stop the other golems from useing it..can you imagine foamy with 3 of those?? among others.. there needs to be offenseive nature spells for him to use

i agree with you guys, or perhaps dropping off the race resrtiction from the idol of life? that way wreakwood could use it as well? it could help. also im not opposed for makeing him like foamy, the sap hearst have now cards that inspire fear, i mean the zil have abomination, whitch i know id hate to see in a fight, just like foamy, wats wrong with giveing the saps a power house? on the other hand...the card would be close to impossible to get after that. also (top work around the jewls weakness) how about some offensive nature spells? it would make the jewl semi useful

ok,back to the origanal thing,i reelly likethename raiders for thesap hearts,but i dont think  we should change esixting cards,and i think(from the sound of there name) they should all be mauraders,as the guild has none.and the sap hearts all have some kind of wierd quark,like death abilitys, or double attack, it think we should kinda use something like that,you  know to ad to the overallwierdness of the guild. i think, and i sugested this before, kinda a double coin ability, where the cards get more attak or defence depending on if your sap hearts are alive or dead.  such as gaining a +1 defence for all the other alive ones, and a +attack for the dead ones, this way it makes it hard for your opponet to pin down your strategy cuz as you begin to lose your cards all get stronger, kinda like the nomads who power each other up but with a sap spin. here is my sugestion for one of them (ih btw sorry i kinda stole the raiders i really like the idea of them)

Pollex- lvl 1 maurader- human/nature (g word i cant spell), raider, spa heart
attack 6/9 deffence 1, spirit 1, health 12
attack+ 1 agianst worriors
attack +1 for every other alive sap heart in play
defence+1 for ever dead sap heart
turns: 1 and 3: defence+ 1

they could also play with weopons that increse defence or offence depending on the sap hearts alive or dead, like for example

Ivy whip, sap heart, attack+1 for every liveing sap heart, defence +1 for every dead sap heart apon activation, activates imeadiatly

well with the addition of wreakwood there are 3 world trees, and hailwalker of course. but there really needts to be a little more structure for them, like perhaps a caste to tie together the world trees like some kind of liveing fortress/stronghold, i dont think they have really even begun to see the posibiltys for the sap hearts (sorry there my favorite guild)
