i've been considering it, at only 2, i get stiffed in some fights quick, lol.
If you ask me now, which deck is the worst i would say u 1º Discard deck 2º Immortals
idk about Discard now. i don't have any legendaries in my discard, and can still hit 1600-1700 Elo goofing around. it also has 250 wins, 165 losses, and a draw. While i do admit i tried Immortals and it wasn't fabulous. Just have to get creative with the other action cards sometimes, not just the race specific ones.
so for the moment, (really trying to save for a [card]Nehantic Receptacle[/card], only 160-200k to go ) i'm running a nehant corruption deck. my set up is:
[card]Dimizar[/card]
[card]Iron Mask[/card]
[card]Amidaraxar[/card]
[card]Break the Second Chain[/card] x1
[card]Corruption of the Soul[/card] x2
[card]Demon May Rise[/card] x2
[card]Demonic Portal[/card] x2
[card]Desolation of the Heart[/card] x2
[card]My Name Is Legion[/card] x2
[card]Overconfidence[/card] x3
[card]Perversion[/card] x3
[card]Revealing the Secret[/card] x3
[card]Vital Syphon[/card] x3
Let's start this off with - i can't afford legendaries. Just so i don't get flooded with "you need ANS, Mastery, Vision, ect.". Beyond that, wondering if this deck needed any tweaking. Would the newest trophy help out here? [card]Spirit Master[/card] could be useful for stopping cards like IHAS, or WAW, while also giving the chance to grab cards like DP back from the discard for another 1-2 hits of it. Also could grab back removed corruptions to hold a chance of playing again. Sounds like a decent theory in my head. Any other thoughts?
Edit ~ Also between 2nd Chain and SM, you could drop some cards in hopes of a better hand, and not be terribly penalized, maybe mixed with 1-2 [card]Recycle Magic[/card]?
One less Desolation,Add one more RTS ,drop Second chain since you probly wont have any card on you're graveyard the whole game anyways and honestly i think Corruption of the Soul is way better than Terror.
I could see having Second chain if you miss a DotS, and can grab out of the discard. a sort of mess up/ fix it toolbox card
now if i could find 2 more perversions in the market
i'm slapping together an Elfine deck for fun. What would be better [card]Amber Dagger[/card] or [card]Life Devourer[/card]? I was unsure, i still have a couple LD from my old school Court deck.
i'll look into getting those 2, i've been gone for a bit, lol. Dissidence looked like a good one too. Unfortunately i can only afford 1 atm, lol.
edit ~ I looked at the sentence trophy, i take this is possible via ice elf spells, and cards like [card]Icy Aura[/card]?
I'm looking into buying, and working towards a new trophy card for my ice elves. While i know [card]Artrezil's Heritage[/card] would be a good card to add, esp. with the [card]Ayir[/card] /[card]Ursyd[/card] /[card]Kokrem[/card] (maybe [card]Yulven[/card] instead of Ayir) combo. But would the old [card]Scheme[/card] trophy card also be a viable play?
It could be used to return cards like [card]Frozen Spirit[/card], [card] Northern Lights[/card], or [card]Amethyst Blizzard[/card] back to your hand for a little extra nastiness.
Col.Beowulf a écrit :I will finally Post a reply. WHY DONT YOU MAKE EVENTS LIKE THIS FREE FOR EVERYONE INSTEAD OF HIDING THE BLOODY THINGS IN BOOSTERS THAT FREE PLAYERS CANT GET? HALLOWEEN! CHRISTMAS! PIRATE QUEST! Stop this. IF your gonna start an event with something that everyone can do. Then you better make it to where those same people can finish it. Catering to the payers only gets you to loose players over time.
They will lose players that DO NOT PAY and actually there is no reason to cater/care for people that .. you know .. do not pay. They are company -> they need money .. d'oh (Do people become dumber with each day or it just seems this way ?)
While this was engaging to solve, the card is actually mediocre at best. Yes, i agree paying player events are fine, but it never hurts to give some love to the people who can't afford to pay also. Like the Halloween in Maplestory when they had a special map you could go in... if you paid real money for a digital costume for your character. Of course people who don't have tons of extraneous money to blow on a game got upset. There's really a fine line there. Not everyone will be happy, but you have to admit this seemed kind of like a fund raiser paired right back to back with a special witchblade promo.
I talked to a few people on FB who were upset about this, using what money they could allot to the game on the Witchblade event, just to end up missing out on this one. Though like i said, they didn't miss a whole lot
-Edit- I do have a question though. What's with people and their 'i'm posting in a forum, i'm so much smarter than you' attitude? You really have to take a moment and look at the issue from all angles. If you can afford it, you got a...decent... card. If not, it's like, 'here it is, tough luck, huh?' feeling. I would have to agree, maybe not every time, but it wouldn't hurt to once in awhile to throw a free player event out there too. Eventually those free players will get some money to spend also, and if they all leave, the constant paying players will get bored, and everyone starts leaving in droves.
dam so i just need to pray very hard to get a watchmaker of destiny. or shell out 200k for an abomination card ouch..
Yup. On the same hand, what TCG have you ever played where you were guaranteed a specific card when you bought a random booster pack?
it looks pretty solid, but i think i'll wait, and let [card]Naya[/card] drop a bit.
i have the crystals just can't decide whether ill build a craft or a court i went up against kimiko, isha and galamar i think its a good deck but then a gain there the foam giant, ramen, and juro.
Foam Giant is all right, but everyone learned [card]Freeze![/card] kills it easy. Kinda like [card]Anathematize[/card] kills the Sap Heart [card]Items have a Soul[/card] deck
equip a cursed item, and survive the fight
From what i guessed, and it seemed to work, (lol) Attach the [card]Invocation Scroll[/card] to a Guemulite character, and kill all three opponents to finish it.
Anyone else get a foil Artaban?
Wait. When i looked at the next level, it drops being a foil? What's up with that?
what is the build for the paladin's hammer/solar's anger? I tried to copy it from what i thought, and it came up all wrong >.<
This is my deck i'm seeming to not get my tired brain around streamlining, so i decided to ask for help.
Iolmarek (good version)
Djamena
Kararine (priest/marauder version)
x3 Solaris
x3 Book of Three Truths
x3 Aura of Faith
x3 Concentration
x3 Sacred Nova
x2 Divine Light
x2 Obesity
x1 Anathemetize (for those pesky IHAS decks )
I tried the Spear of Light, swapped them to try Cursed Bigblades, but wasn't happy with those either. The books kinda help a little... Any suggestions?
edit -> my TG deck got ate alive by this character set up in the Elo rooms last week, and i can't seem to find the spark they had
MikeyB a écrit :Your methods are a slap in the face to the developers who worked to develop a fair and balanced game.
This can't be the truth. If they developed a fair and balanced game, people would not be able to level up so easily. You are slapping them in the face by refusing to play the game at its full potential thus wasting their time.
I believe (as it was stated many times before) the developers could read this at any time. If this issue was such a game breaking issue like the handful of you make it sound like, they would have addressed it by now. In the end, the only people losing sleep are those stressing about people bending the rules. The company's making it's money, what do they care if a group of people level their cards faster than others? i'm sure the checklist looks close to this when they reviewed this problem.
#1 - Are we making money still? Yes.
#2 - Are they in any way making major problems? No.
#3 - Are we losing money? No.
#4 - Should we jump on what a small handful of people whine about in a forum post? No.
If you really get your undies in such a major twist about it, go program your own game, and make sure to spend 300 forevers trying to cover every single loophole people will eventually find + exploit.
Huh. So you're saying it's not all right to speed evo, but feel free to spend your money so you can have a full abomb zil deck, tourney ready by level 8? Where does the end justify the means in terms of fairness? So while you have at least level 3/4 characters, and your peers you're fighting trying to 'LEGITIMATELY' (To quote you) raise their cards the old fashioned way, it's cool for them. Because they spent their money on it. Sorry, took me about 10 min. to grasp that concept. I'll have to remember that next time i play M:TG, lmao.
me: "Hey you can't use those cards!"
them: "Why?"
me: "You got them for free from a friend, and i payed for all mine! It's unfair!"
I think that'll fly.
So now i'm trying to build up an [card]Iolmarek[/card], [card]Kararine[/card], [card]Djamena[/card] priest deck, all from level 1 up. So far i've lost probably 20 matches, and won 1. Am i in here crying about facing off against the max level Courtesan/Zil/Noz decks i keep getting destroyed by? No. i just keep on plugging through. I'll level eventually. The problem is people take games TOO MUCH like life.
"WAH! His friend helped him get an edge on the cash spending players who bought packs, sold the contents, and bought fully evo'd toons! How dare they!"
In the end, all the complaining won't fix anything. Lazy people will always find a way to cheat the system. Peeps are on here crying about it like it's the first game people traded off wins to boost themselves faster...
/end rant. Tired, and i just found that whole thought hilarious. Where would be be with everyone "playing fair"?
i don't sit in the Elo rooms because i get tired of seeing the cookie cutter Zil/Foam Giant decks 15 matches in a row. Disregarding the fact i have to sit in there for over 10 min for one match some times. Seeing that i don't have the fee'z + crystal income to afford multiple copies of all the legendary cards, nor the outrageous costs to build decks around said high value cards, what's the point of my perm rating getting brutalized? I play the game to have fun, and i'm not always in the competing mood.
Besides, who said you had to stay in said matches anyways? What i'd like to see is a room where we could just play matches just to play. No exp, no crystals, just playing to test decks, fight your friends, ect.
That would be all well and good. Then every card that could be boosted would be blocked. Abomination would obviously be first, let's see... then Pilkim, Armada, eventually every card would be blocked off.
Well unfortunately life isn't fair. the only reason i considered it was for the merc exterminator trophy, seeing as finding a merc deck is rare as hell. My question is where does it make an unbalance in an Elo room? Where almost every deck is an Abomb/Tele/Shadow, or a variation of the Foam Giant deck. As for level rooms, i could see it a bit there. I'm too lazy to bother trying to find someone to use the loophole, lol.
edit -> Then you have like what i'm doing right now in the leveing rooms. My characters are all max level, but i'm trying to build up 4-5 cards for another deck i plan on making. So am i wrong to have Djamena, Sphinx, and Ahmid max level, while i work on said cards? I'm technically leveling, just not what you can see.
i love the people that activate order bonus cards after they already got it
i know this card can block an action card, but when could it start blocking items also? I just had someone use [card]Obesity[/card], and it blocked my [card]The Pirate Code[/card]?
Also, it takes fully leveling two level 1 flames of the phoenix to create a level 2
for the record, the +1 attack order bonus, both characters having 11 powder, and a love/war combo i was able to boost [card]Armada[/card] to a 31/31 for one attack. While it was amazing fun to look at, it's really situational.
