Look at these losers posting
http://forum.eredan.com/viewtopic.php?id=16789BTW, I just found a new card good for witchblade,
[card]mimicry[/card], I put one in my deck instead of one [card]dragon molt[/card], as witchblade are mutli-class, this card can be, a lighting ball lv3 , RoD, or assassinate or even a new start. It also can be used to against [card]The last word[/card]" + [card]The hungry void[/card] combo, because of the spell card such as "lighting ball" will be pulled out (if it is on the top of discard pile) from discard pile to join the battle by your hand).
I know! wth with hating the WB's. -_-' they just hate that WB can kick Ish's pretty ass and 1 shot the bloody pilkim.
btw, I never thought of mimicry before! what a nice idea. although i doubt it can be a winning card.
@reedwine : i think you can remove anathematize from your deck, mate. IHAS deck has nothing against us WB. we've got magic attacks
I play WB deck. and the reason is because finally I can put aside my Abom deck to compete in ELO (although Abom is still better).
Try making a list of ELO decks:
1. stupid mage decks.
2. stupid Ish decks.
3. stupid abom deck.
4. stupid eclipse deck.
5. stupid port.
From my point of view, it's a good thing that once in a while we can put new decks which aren't only fun, but able to compete in elo. I believe this is the reason why alot of ppl and me are playing WB decks.
Cause we're sick of being bullied by Ish and her stupid boyfriends and we get the chance to beat them with WB.
Just saying. [card]The flawseeker's meditation[/card] artwork. love it. reminds me of lion king or other disney animation movies.
Why does it always happen that I could play 10-20 normal games smoothly, and suddenly going into ELO game and got timed out TWICE in a ROW!
I don't think this is just me. the connection in elo games are TERRIBLE!
Feerik staff have done so well creating new cards. But don't you think it's time already to focus more on server development?
hey waddaya know, my opponent just got DC! this ELO game aint fun man
Ninsane a écrit :so, this is what my deck looks like now.
3 [card]Rain of death[/card]Well.. lol i can swear it doesn't sucks ...
1 wblade + RoD can OSK if enought lucky.
yeah, I love it when it happen
For 3 [card]Magic Attack[/card] you could replace
[card]Fight![/card]
[card]I hate the zil[/card]
[card]Mage's grand staff[/card] (since DK can't use it)
and you should replace [card]Devouring swarm[/card] with [card]Freeze[/card]
The new abyssien utilize damage-discard hybrid imo, because he has a pretty high spirit and innate ability that heal himself if opponents has less than 4 cards. So it goes really well with panic + RoD or KoD + treacherous. His line up wud be shadow, abyss and salem KoD would rocks after somebody has passed away
that. is. a. great. idea! now I understand what [card]free the shadow[/card] is for..
the WITCHESSSS arrr
there's 1 card you have to get: [card]Magic Attack[/card]. It's not so expensive, and I believe DK's can use it. It's a winning card.
If there's one card that I hate the most out of a DK deck, it's Magic Attack. Other than the [card]draconian sword[/card] and [card]dragon armor[/card].
Another effective yet cheap DK card is [card]Shell[/card].
But I personally don't run DK, I run Witchblade which unfortunately much more expensive deck than DK since Naya is absolutely required in it, so I'm not going suggest you to build witchblade right now.
oh one more thing, to have lv4 Zahal you will need [card]Watchmaker[/card] which is 200k. So it would be wise to just buy a lv4 Zahal (15k or so).
good luck with your deck
Scrappykid, you should try playing a discard deck. It's not simple, requires more thinking, planning, luck, and hope that your opponent doesn't know how to deal with discard deck. The last one is the most important, because if the opponent do know how to beat a discard deck, you'll need the best possible hand in order to win.
It's on my top 3 of most used decks, and it has the least win/loss ratio with 208/59 (the other 2 decks are abomb and witchblade). It's the most tiring to play out of the three, but one of the most fun to play although the most fun deck is armada's pirate deck
LOL I LOVE IT!
yes, [card]living dagger[/card] can dual wield with [card]Blade of the Witch[/card].
I'm thinking about putting [card]Burn in hell[/card] cause mine just got beaten by another witchblade deck, and his burn in hell cards did lots of damage to mine.
Another thing that I like about Witchblade deck, we can build a defense deck or an offense deck or a spell deck.
so, this is what my deck looks like now.
[card]Naya[/card]
[card]Anazra[/card]
[card]Eglantyne and Moira[/card]
1 [card]Reborn[/card]
3 [card]Rain of death[/card]
3 [card]Magic attack[/card]
3 [card]Burn in hell[/card]
3 [card]Blade of the Witch[/card]
2 [card]Living dagger[/card]
2 [card]Ice shield[/card]
2 [card]Ice coffin[/card]
1 [card]Freeze[/card]
I have so many cards I want to put in here (another [card]Ice shield[/card], [card]journey[/card], [card]i hate brawlers[/card], [card]sword of light[/card], [card]dragon armor[/card], [card]than the sword[/card]) but I have no idea which one to replace -_-
A few questions:
1.) Is the Living Dagger better than Dragon Armors? I suppose it will depend on whether you're going for an offensive approach or a defensive one, but in most cases which would you prefer to run?
2.) Are the Ice Shields enough insurance versus Sap Heart decks?
3.) Is Sword of Light really worth three slots?
Thanks in advance.
1. I tried as suggested and IMO, living dagger is better than dragon armor, but not that much. so price wise, dragon armor is the way to go.
2. Yes, going against melissandre, Ice shield is very effective.
3. No, I say just put 2, since only 2 of them can use it. (well 3 if you count the sisters as 2 )
I agree with dropping [card]unleash hell[/card], but not so sure about dropping [card]i hate brawlers[/card] though, since it's chainable
still experiencing floating characters, man. I do hope you guys are going to fix it soon
And as Ishaia was mentioned, i just cannot see beating her with spells. At least not in a spirit boosting mage deck. That's what the [card]Magic Attack[/card]s are meant for, so if there's an Ishaia on the other side gotta save them up for her. But maybe a third one would be nice. Could cut [card]Assassination [/card]to two and add a [card]Magic Attack[/card].
yes, [card]Ishaia[/card] is on my top hate list along with [card]Kararine[/card] and the silly mage noz deck.
but I'm always happy fighting kot's or mercs though
Hmmm I'm interested. Because at first I thought [card]Kiss of death[/card] wouldn't be so effective. But now that I think of it, it can make Shadow turn into a witchblade. I'm going to try it witchblades have RoDs, Shadow has KoDs ;P
so guys, is 1 KoD be enough?
edit: KoD ROCKS! thanks for letting me know guys
This is my best Witchblade deck so far. I tried using Ass, Wars and TTD but it didn't work out as well as this one.
[card]Naya[/card]
[card]Anazra[/card]
[card]Eglantyne and Moira[/card]
1 [card]Reborn[/card]
3 [card]Rain of death[/card]
3 [card]Magic attack[/card]
3 [card]Blade of the Witch[/card]
3 [card]Ice shield[/card]
2 [card]Ice coffin[/card]
2 [card]Sword of light[/card]
1 [card]Unleash hell[/card]
2 [card]I hate brawlers[/card]
This deck relies on RoD and Magic Attack which are the winning cards.
current game record:
Wins 165
Loses 30
Draws 1
And I take back my harsh words, this deck is a really descent deck for mid Elo.
And it has become my third most beloved deck after Abom and Discard
feel free to comment
@SamsonXL: I like your deck and it was actually my first build of the deck, but unfortunately you will find [card]Assassination[/card] doesn't feel special at all because of what bloodlust said: average stats. It was made for true marauders who already has a high attack. They are witches, so why not use spells
My point is, get [card]Rain of death[/card] instead of [card]assassination[/card].
I have to say the new [card]Abyssien the devourer[/card] is really what discard deck needs. although that makes the old [card]Abyssien[/card] totally useless, which is a bit sad. But this new character is truly appreciated
Can't say the same about the other new cards though. imho None of them is as significant as this one.
How ironic is it that [card]Mylad[/card] is in [card]Versatility[/card] artwork but she doesn't get anything out of it.
My new setup with 3 RoDs
[card]Naya[/card]
[card]Anazra[/card]
[card]Eglantyne and Moira[/card]
3 [card]Blade of the Witch[/card]
3 [card]Magic attack[/card]
3 [card]Ice shield[/card]
2 [card]Ice coffin[/card]
2 [card]Dragon armor[/card]
3 [card]Sword of light[/card]
3 [card]Rain of death[/card]
1 [card]Unleash hell[/card]
-I removed [card]Ice Barrier[/card] as i think this card wasn't made for swordmages.
-I also removed [card]freeze[/card] because there we have 3 magic attack and RoDs to fight those darn golems.
-Thought about using [card]Lightning bolts[/card] V3 but the damage wouldn't be worth the price if I compare it with [card]Unleash hell[/card]. But I may be wrong.
-I use 2 [card]Ice Coffin[/card] because I just hate having 3 of them in hand on first turn.
oh and now there's [card]Hook[/card] he ignores all shadow spells! LOL at my discard deck
What Glasher say is true. Discard decks are horribly bad against fast and furious beat-them-down deck (Temple Guardian, Eclipse, Zil, even Saps sometimes). I can speak from experience
.
To be honest, no deck is perfect-against-all-kind of decks (Courtesan came close to that though IMHO).
absolutely true. I play discard deck, and every time I pray that my 3 toons are still alive after turn 3, and the opponent doesn't have [card]A new start[/card]
Ninsane a écrit :heh, you must be a pilkim user
No, i'm someone who doesn't call a deck "fail" just because it loses against those kill-all Noz-mages.
And besides of a select few other top tier decks, nearly anything will lose against those mages. So you'd have to call each and every deck a complete fail if it isn't part of the top tier.
If you want to stand a chance against the best, you have to play the best. But just stop calling mid-tier decks "fail" just because they can't compete with the best of the best.
I hope you do realize: you've done NOTHING to help this thread. more constructive feedback please.
Back to topic.
This is my current setup.
[card]Naya[/card]
[card]Anazra[/card]
[card]Eglantyne and Moira[/card]
3 [card]Blade of the Witch[/card]
3 [card]Magic attack[/card]
3 [card]Ice shield[/card]
2 [card]Ice barrier[/card]
2 [card]Ice coffin[/card]
2 [card]Dragon armor[/card]
1 [card]Sword of light[/card]
1 [card]Rain of death[/card]
1 [card]Unleash hell[/card]
1 [card]Freeze[/card]
1 [card]no idea [/card]
now I'm thinking about adding 1 [card]Lightning bolts[/card] or another RoD.
OR should I replace the RoD with another unleash Hell, so It'll have 1 [card]Lightning Bolts[/card] and 2 [card]Unleash Hell[/card].
what do you guys think is best for witchblades?
thanks for the feedback. peace
And just because you lost to this "stupid" top tier deck witchblades are a complete fail?
Judged by this criteria the large majority of the possible decks in this game are a complete fail.
heh, you must be a pilkim user
