this is a work in progress as i have only got 50k crystals spare and plan to up the pets but apart from the pets anyone think anything else could be better?

hmmm u seem either super ironic or maybe u have never ever played against a crystal storm deck?!?

thing is that if ure oponent plays CS and equips it in the first round you will get 2 damage every round onwards... before you can kill this char he will have done at least 6 damage to all your chars depending on who started the fight. this is only if u equip it once!! but with illumination and 3 chars being able to equip the storm u will seriously be in trouble if u dont have cards that reduce the overall damage taken like good joruser or forced march or if u somehow are able to remove permanents in game

CS is hard to beat for most decks and there are only a little to no counters against it

im just being a drip man nothing else lol, so does CS stack over forced march or is atleast 2 clumsiness needed?

ok talk about frustrating or is there something im missing?
i get my compendiums spirit to 7 against a character with 0 spirit yet i still only done 4 magic damage at the end of the turn:(! wtf is going on?

the prob with this deck is that you're playing [card]The Howls[/card] and 3 random other cards ([card]Assassination[/card], [card]Time to Die[/card] and [card]...and War[/card]). The Howls only look good on paper but do next to nothing against most decks. the random single Assassination and ...and War wont help since they don't chain in your deck and hence only got limited use. The Time to die is only limited usefull since only 2 characters can play it, you have to save up and attack boost for those (poor fenrath).
Instead try playing [card]The best defense...[/card], [card]Dissidence[/card], [card]Clumsiness[/card] and [card]Favor of the Dawn[/card]. Clumsiness is almost a must against most decks and Favor of the Dawn has unlimited use if you know when to play it. Dissidence is one of the most used and powerfull cards in ELO for a reason.
other usefull cards would be [card]Storm[/card] (in the first and second turn you can ensure the atk bonus of fenrath while also damaging the enemy), [card]Nehant Shield[/card] (thins out the deck and make The best defense... hit for one more), [card]Danger in Delay[/card] (plain and good), [card]Strenght of Zil[/card] , [card]Stone-Heart[/card] (keeps your characters somewhat alive and trigger Fenraths boost for the next turn) and [card]Hit the Road[/card] (for more control over the turn orders)

that beeing said, yeah i play The Pack, and yes i tried out The Howls but the benefits of that card where dimishing when i could have also just played a +2 to +3 atk instead (the first pet gives you only an extra atk with 3 strenght. so 3 armor chars just laugh at that. it only finds limited use against normads). the 2 big weak points of The Pack are that they are predictable and that they stuggle hard against any kind of mage decks. preemtive shutdown might also be something you might want to look into. for a while i run with Litmus Test, Dissidence, Peace Treaty and Suspicion of Treason (Wild is a gumelite you know^^), then again i missed the damage output i was used to.
also you could run a glass cannon build where you utilise Blood Ties three times together with Storm and Time to Die. it works. but stuggles somewhat against pirate marauders and eclipse.

the thing i'm trying right now is Pack marauders with Wild, Dark and Bloodsword. but i feel like something's missing to max it's utility right now (thou Dark works pretty good against mages, avalonians and ice elfes due to her high spirit and merc debuff)

bah thank you! lol howls are already out the window lol thank christ they are cheap lol would probaly only work out if they release another the pack beast, but by the looks of things why would they help out "weaker decks like the pack" when they can buff the over-powered ones!..........

If u ask why i just put one its just for the new one ´cause he asnt got spirit at all.

[card]Hocicudo[/card] x2

Yes this is the pet beast e_e, some may think 3 would go better but EY this isnt a zoo deck we must equilibrate some stuff here and also this deck aint playin tank stile.

[card]Sylphide[/card] x1

I think i dont need to explain why she is at this deck tongue

[card]Darkat[/card] x2

2 are good ´cause depending on the opponent we can decide if we take a defense stile or a offensive stile play.

Actions:

[card]Illumination[/card] x3

To help put storms into play, i call it a deck cleaner ´cause releases space from the deck, its cool ´cause less cards in the deck the more chances of having a draw with combo u get e_e

[card]Affinity[/card] x3

Another undispensable card of the deck. Deals cool magic damage and also u dont need to get pissed off when u play a spell and u ditch ***bip*** storms ´cause with this card that wont happen anymore big_smile.

[card]Osmosis[/card] x3

Looks kinda "not powerfull" if u understand what im sayin, but compendium deck its a slow synphony deck and with those u can add cool defense, cool spirit and cool attack.

that looks tasty wink i did see an awesome compendium deck couple days ago but this was a truely mad piece of work using only 2 compendiums and adding a craftsmen using multi-tasking, artezils ring and by the looks dragons wit and vanish which as u can imagine owned my low spirit deck i asked him to fight my discard deck aswell and guess what sad i got owned!

Fixed your cards. Yeah, I have a couple of sugestions:

-1 [card]Lunation[/card] I don't think you need three of 'em. They ain't that good to play. You need more pure damage right away.
-1 [card]...And War[/card] Not tough enough.
-1 [card]Capturing the Enemy[/card] Not tough enough.

+3 [card]A Warrior's Fury[/card]

Maybe toolbox it a bit with an [card]Anthematise[/card] and [card]Clumsiness[/card].

I play a weaker version of the pack with [card]Dark[/card] instead of Fenrath. Mainly because noone else does it. I throw in a couple of life devourers just in case, but you play Bestial so you don't need no more items. I play [card]Blood Ties[/card] as well, cause it's a solid +5 together with fly off the handle. I discard through the deck like mad to get the cards just right.

I mostly loose when I meet the tier 1 decks, but I haven't met a deck I can't beat if EVERYTHING goes my way.

Though, I'm just a newbie so I might overlook something.

telendar, abomination, saphyra the zil (some people like to use abomination, shadow and saphyra, but i don't like it)

assassination x3
offense x1
dagger master x1
at daggers drawn x2
dagger of sufferance x2
fist blade x2
artrezil's blade x2
time to die x1
that is the main list, then:

it's time x1 (use dagger master on saphyra, then it's time)
dark stone heart x1 (against magic damage)
chink in the armor x1

and the optionals
act of peace x1 (better than obesity if you play it on saphyra or telendar)
stirring up hatred x1 (to improve damage, you can use 2 if you iike)
on the road x1 (to break synergy or turn order on some decks, or just to accelerate dagger master)

yh thats a good idea i just got 1 through adventures aswell so bonus crystals smile
and this deck is working gr8 even without better cards instead of getting rid of cards quick and struggling to survive im reducing loads of damage even causing more damage to the opponents and winning shame you cant get perfects with discard sad

yh i see what your saying ive got all the cards i need now an thats just from searching 2day WUHU! its not really that cheap when u start adding big cards like mercy,turn to the shadows ect.

hmmmm really considering trying to work on Kriss, ATD and psy id say that makes kriss easy to keep alive with dissapearance added to the game
