I just had my 1st battle against the new Prince Metchaf card. On the card text it says that he is supposed to reduce my character's defence to half (rounded down) on round 4 6 and 8.
However, when I fought against him with Xin, I never regained my original defence score after the battle. After the 1st roundI had against him, I had my def reduced to 2. When I battled against another char, it never came back to 5 as it should have. Then we battled again, and he reduced it to 1, and it still never returned again after the battle.
This is the 1st time I have seen the new card in use. I'll post again if I experience this again.

Thanks for that. Was driving me nuts. Here is the directions from your other post in case anyone else is having trouble with this:
just click the tiny flag next to ure name in the upper left side of the main window then u ll see the english/american flag... click that and wait till the window reloads... enter ure detail and tu e finito

I just logged in after I had the error with not getting my free daily quest card. When I logged back in, the site was in French. Since I don't speak much French, I can't figure out how to get it back to English. Can anyone help out with step-by-step instructions for me?

Same error. Completed the daily missions, but no card selection. Game froze up at the card selection screen.

just enjoy the game as much as possible. If you dislike playing against bot-like players, look for friends and regulars to play with/against.
That's the only reason I began making a list in the 1st place. Its to avoid playing against these "bot-like" players.
No one has asked to see the list I have made, and honestly I only have 1 name on it since I noticed this happening.
I think your analogy of reporting suspicion to the police is inaccurate. I think that you should report your neighbour's suspicious activities to he police. The reason is so that they can do their job and investigate. I would expect the same from any one at Eredan who wanted a list of potential bot users. I would expect them to investigate to see if the users were using bots or not. I am not condemning anyone by making a list.
Its only an observation, and data collection. Nothing more. No accusation intended.

All the politicking aside, I would recommend you try mixing it up. If you have a decent Kotoba Warriors deck, try running with Gan'so, Lord Galmara (Zil version) and Oogoe Kage. I was able to compete in ELO room with these characters.
Just make sure you grab a couple of Tsume and at least 1 overwhelming victory. Play to slow things down and build up your defence early on, then bring the pain in the later rounds. I used the runic gauntlet, but also the Armour of the Lightning King is powerful. If you can get your hands on The Best Defence (expensive but worth it), you can really do some late game damage with a warrior deck.
I wouldn't get discouraged. I felt the same way when I hit level 12. Seemed like everyone had a better deck than me all of a sudden. I just took some time in the training room levelling characters up and selling them for crystals to use on my 'main' deck. Now I am level 13, and i can compete in ELO against most others.
Remember that there will always be a weakness for your deck. Learn what it is, and try to play your cards wisely. A lucky draw doesn't hurt either 
Good luck. I hope you stick with it. The game does improve again once you get past the level 12 slump.

I have some across this several times in the training room this past week. Player either discards all their cards every turn, never plays a card or just keeps their hand and never plays a card. Definitely seems like a bot to me.
I'm going to keep a list of players I come across who have done this against me if the mods are interested.

Is there a way to remove permanently attached spells (like corruption)? I am using Magic Shield right now to prevent them from attaching, but with limited success.
Is there a way to remove them on a later round after they are already attached to my characters? Something like Smash that Iron does for weapons...

I have found that I keep my custom pic if I log into the Eredan site without having Facebook logged in with another window. If I log in while also logged into FB, it reverts to my FB profile pic again.
Is there a way to un-link it to my FB account?

I played Magic Shield today against Aranaya and I still got dinged with the 2 dmg after my character attacked. I would think it should stop this damage in the turn that Ice Shield is played at least...

I had a similar bug in training match. I played Immobilization against 2 different players in different matches. The 1st time, the other player played Cubit Chakra, the 2nd time, they played Fight! chained with Blast!. Definitely bugged....

[card]Mage's grand Staff[/card] is one of the item able to add some power to spell
I can't remember if he had the staff attached or not. It definitely came up during the battle. I'll have to keep an eye out for it to happen again.
So, I still have a bug against 'than the sword' and 'illusory reflection', but the other things I noticed may have been the correct effects of the card.

No bug on Dragon fangs if the spellcaster is Alishk (draconic version) with some amplification.
In the situation I was in battle with Aez the King vs. Pilkim, both max level. Pilkim had several items attached.
I'll be taking a screenshot the next time I see it happen. However, I removed it from my ELO deck, so it may take some time to get it to happen with the practice room deck I have it in now.

In this case, I lost a character from the match because of the effects of this one item. I have also noticed that I sometimes cannot get the Spirit +2 when my opponent casts a spell if I play this card after "In the Nick of Time", though I am unsure if it is related to the same problem or not.
In the nick doesn't activate the spirit bonus because this bonus is given at the beginning of the fight i.e. before the first card played takes effect.
This mikes sense, so it is not a glitch in this case.

As a result, the other character had a higher spirit than I did, and got the benefir of "than the Sword", even though I should have had the higher spirit, making the card effect nil.
When you say "equipped" do you mean that you played it during a turn before the one you describe or during the turn you describe ?
Yes, that is exactly what I mean. It is equipped on one turn, then on the next turn, it has no effect against 'than the sword'.
The very next round, a mage cast 2 of the card Dragon Fangs". My spirit went up to 3. The opposing character had defence 7. By my math, that means I should have lost 4 health per spell, for a total of 8 points. However, I lost 7 health per spell, for a total of 14.
I agree there's a bug in this case.

I have been using the Runic Guantlet in many decks for quite some time, and it never seems to work exactly as the card says it should. The card says that it should give "Spirit +2 if your opponent plays a Spell or Theurgy".

This has been an ongoing glitch for quite some time. I thought it only related to "then the sword" at first, so didn't bother posting, but it now has affected my ELO. Please review and let me know if there is some rule about this card that is not written on it.

I have changed my profile picture about a dozen times this week. It always seems to change itself back to my facebook profile pic right after I exit. This was never a problem until the update that announced the
I have tried logging in using my email/password and also by using the 'connect using facebook' button.
Not sure if it matters, but my OS is Win7 and my browser is Chrome 10.0.648.127
Any help would be apprecitaed. I created a custom avatar to use only for eredan, it would be great to be able to use it again....

I bought the Noz deck just to see what was in there. Lots of cards that are pretty useless. I got the fireball I wanted, though. Also a static charge, which are both good value compared to buying them in the marketplace.
How about the Kotoba deck? What's special in there? Is there an expensive card or two in there as well?

I'm wondering what the starter decks include? I started with a Zil deck that I am pleased with, but I'm having some trouble acquiring a fireball spell. Can I get one by buying the Noz deck? What else comes in there? How about the Kotoba deck?
